Before the baby I used to be able to hit 3 courses every weekend, I had a nice rack of 100 discs and money for new discs every week.

Now I have to spend time with the baby on the weekends, have no money for discs due to the cost of diapers, and my rack looks like this when I get home:

oh boy. My 18-month-old daughter loves to pull all of the discs out of my bag. We've started saying the color of the disc when she grabs them, so she's at least learning something .. lol

It's not uncommon for me to come home from work and find my discs strewn all over the house.

nice choice: eagle and spider

Can I get that medal for 100 discs now? :) I have to add all of these to my organizer.
We are holding the signed Ed Hendrick Gumbputt I bought from Biscoe

Look at those cheeks! (bet you never hear that, right? ;)) My little chubster is the same way...if I leave my bag out, she's into it immediately! I gave her a bright-colored disc that I never use, a regular ol' catch Frisbee, and several minis just to prepare her for the future.

But yes, ever since her arrival last October, I haven't golfed nearly as much as I used to. I probably would've gotten out with her a lot more this summer, but the humidity and mosquitoes were so terrible I couldn't bring myself to take her out in such conditions. Disc purchases are definitely lacking, too...

I feel your pain (as far as DG goes, that is), but share your joy of fatherhood! Can't wait until mine is walking and potty trained so I don't have to load up the stroller and diaper bag (additional 15-20 minutes of pre-round preparation!) every time I head out!

Three words: reusable cloth diapers.

Do you have any pics of Zoey with discs?

congrats bro. she is beautiful and will/has changed your life. Family is one of the greatest gifts God gives a man. when she is older, take her out and let her throw some holes. it would be a great daddy/daughter date time just for you guys.

Yes, I do! I was going to post them in my birth announcement thread, but didn't want to dig up that ancient thread and get yelled at by the mods...:p

I'll look through my phones and cameras and try to fine 'em and put some pics up. I've got her with my Bronze TR mini, but haven't gotten any with my Silver TR mini yet!...in fact, I gave it to her and haven't seen it since, so it's probably under the couch or entertainment center or something since it hasn't shown up in her numerous dumping-outs of the toy box.

And they can use Innova discs to learn their animals too! One more reason Innova rocks!

here you go, free excuse :)

My daughter will not touch a groove. TRUE STORY
I use a green grove as my dog's dish and if she touches it he will attack, so she will not touch a groove.

She really likes the minis from Billnchristy's Wood Nymph event. I swear they smell fruity, maybe he washed them in some fruity soap.

Indeed, I have one of those same minis! I thought I caught a whiff of something when I opened my package from Bill, but it may have just been some eau de Belanger got sealed in with the disc and minis.

That's hilarious that she won't play with Grooves. You're starting her off on the right track, for sure! Zoey seemed to like my pink Comet the most, but it could just be that, "Ooh, a new toy!" feeling since she normally doesn't have access to my bag and only has the orange Mako at her disposal.

Zactly. We spent $400 on BumGenius diapers 8 months ago (our little girl turns one next weekend) and other than water and detergent, haven't spent a cent on diapering since. Plus that $400 is sunk cost that can be applied to the next bcr123psu spawn.

That being said, the little'ins do take up a lot of time, but it's worth it. Especially when they're curious about your discs (which usually means ripping them out of the bin and throwing them on the floor):

Or when they decide that pink is their favorite colour:

Who knows prerube, your little prerubian might be dubs partner with my little bcr123psubian at the 2030 Vibram Open...

Is she a redhead? I can't tell on my phone. I thought Coraline was going to be a redhead, but it turned blonde.
