My buddy (who has been playing since 80 something) and I were talking last night after doubles he told me that he thinks I am the only one around the area (TN) that throws a Cro.

My question(s) is how many of you throw a Cro? and How many of you have even tried one and what did you think?

For me the Cro comes out of my hand smooth. Beats in nice just like y'alls Rocs and is fast.

the only person i know that throws a cro only does so because it was the only midrange left on the rack at the sport store near him.

Many throw the Cro. There is a Cro lovers thread somewhere on here. I have about 10 Cros. I mainly use my First Run Star Cro as an approach disc, or for getting around trees. With it's stability and lack of glide it is money for approaches. I don't think I have ever had a Cro roll away on me either.

I use it for driving, great disc to power up on with almost no turnover...unless it is a beat to heck DX one

I LOVE my First Run Star Cro... I am not sure what it is, but that disc just works for me and I am very confident with it.

With that being said - it is rarely in my bag though. I am perfectly happy with the Rocs I carry.

I use it. Rarely, but I do use it.
I have a small fetish for the dx stamp as well...

i love my dx, i've not thrown a star yet but it's on my 'wish list'. I find it to be the most controlable disc that I have, great for tossing around trees. i'd say I use it for about 70% of my up-shots.

Cro is the only mid I carry - Love the 1st Runs and have about 20 total (15 star & 5 CFR). Great mid in the wind and nice for short forehand shots.

I throw a Star Cro. Its more overstable than my KCpro Roc, probably because it's in newer condition. I can't really get it to go as far as my other mids but it comes in handy when I don't need to go as far.

The Cro is part of Innova's smaller diameter Mid-range line. So it seems to me that it would be complimentary to a roc and not meant to replace it. Maybe not.

^has a sweet champion cro :)

I have a DX Cro that someone gave me. I really dont like it. It now has a home in my "nooby loaner bag".

The only small diameter mid I use is my Champ Spider, and even that gets used rarely.

I have a star cro. I use it to drive on short (<200') holes, and approach shots. I probably use it about 2 times a round.

Cro forehand

Good ole intermediate has a mean Cro forehand for approaches. I have tinkered with it, and had some success. Cro doesn't seem to be to be a disc that will be your horse, but for a few key shots a round it is $$$. I tis also an decent wind or emergency putter.

The CFR or Champ Cro's are even more stable. Great discs.

I've got a few Star's but they've worked their way out of my bag in favor of Roc's. I got a sweet ACE with one over the summer on a 200 foot hole.
