Grip EQ large bag

The current "preorder" price through Dynamic Discs is $185 shipped. That comes with a water bottle and lanyard from DD.

I paid $185 through DD. Didn't know that I would be getting a water bottle and lanyard too. This is a cool surprise, love the freebies. I can't wait until mine gets here on Tuesday (according to my tracking). I am thinking of calling in sick and waiting by the mailbox until it arrives. ;) I will have it for my tourney next weekend. w00t!

According to my FedEx tracking #, my bag arrived at my house at 10am. Only thing is, there is no bag or FedEx box anywhere to be found?

Really good looking bag. I'm impressed. If I had $180 and these weren't sold out I'd probably buy one in a second.

Be sure to post impressions again after a few months of wear and tear etc. Would be nice information to have for anyone else contemplating buying it.

Meh... I get the feeling no bag will be amazing. Might be nice to have one day, but then so might the golf mahal...

The grip however, seems to be less top heavy compaieed to the sim that is fairly top heavy. The weight of rhe grip is more centered and lower.

lets not forget bootsy that the simian was intended to double as a seat and be sturdy enough to stand on. So it may be more top heavy, but lets acknowledge why.

I'm highly considering ordering one from the next batch instead of getting a Dual Pack. Does anyone have a picture of a Grip next to a Dual Pack?

I'm aware of that cfair. I'm just stating the obvious. I love my sim though but I always laid it down on inclines because of it's design. No biggie, both are great bags for the money. I own a proto pre production one so mine is a lil different interms of no extra putter pocket. The thing I didn't enjoy was, taking it on muddy rounds and trying to find places to set it because when mud got on the botom. I'd put it on and the mud would get on my clothes. With the grip or any other traditional style bag,you can set the bag on a stool.

either way. BUY A SIM OR BUY A GRIP. I dnt care because I have both anyway lol

Very interesting point. I think I'd like a GB bag though. But I wonder how well they balance on the stools...

Very impressed with the craftsmanship of the bag. There are tons of really cool features to be found that I was not expecting, a few being the adjustable quiver for putters, the drainage for the drink holders, and even the little bit of elastic added to the sternum strap was a nice touch.
Comparing to my Revo Dualpack, not much of a comparison, the only loss is the ability to stuff an XL hoodie in the bag which can be done with the Revo. However, beyond that, these two bags are not on the same level.

Anyone could get along fine with a Dualpack, no doubt about it. If you are a big nerd like me that loves to have the best gadgets and tech stuff you are going to want this bag because no other offers the level of detail and design of the Grip bag. This bag is going to be amazing for the disc golf market as it will push other companies to try to match or improve upon it in terms of design/comfort.

This bags look really nice, and I totally dig the rain fly that comes with them. The reason I made the above qoute bold was for trying to compare the Grip Bag with a Golf Mahal. From what I've read about both is they are the finiest availble as of now. Glad you guys received them, let us know how they do out there on the course.
