Daylight Saving Time is almost upon us! On March 12th we will be graced with an extra hour of daylight to get out and toss some plastic!

The sun setting early, not the cold or snow, is more of a hindrance to me playing since I work normal 9-5 hours.

Anybody else looking forward to this? How will you utilize this time?

I can't wait, this whole 'dark at 6:15' thing is killing my practice... I don't get home till around 6:30 so that extra hour should be perfect to get a couple tosses in!

aj

I also work regular 9-5 type hours. looking forward to some Monday--Friday action on the courses!!!

i work downtown in chicago. by the time i get off the train, its 655-710..i am most definetely looking forward to being able to make at least ONE throw before the sun dissappears

It doesnt help me much except to get to the pitch and putt courses, because the good ones are all about an hour from my house anyway; but usually after the winter, I am more than thrilled to get to the pitch and putt or to the practice field after work.

Now, this weekend, Saturday its supposed to be cooler than its been all week while I was at work (go figure) but sunny. Too bad I have to go to a birthday party. (also go figure) Then Sunday Im free but its supposed to be just over freezing and rain, which is worse than 15 degrees and snow in my book, but at least the layers of snow and ice are off the ground so I think I'll play in it anyway.

I work in the Loop as well. Maybe we should just set up a temp course in the alleys and start a Lunch Break League...whadaya think?

Blessed to live in sunny 75 south Florida during winter months, but in summer I ll wishing to go north :)

i think its an awesome idea. i work at 30s wacker, just 2 blocks south of the sears tower. where do you work in the loop? or hell, we could get a pop up basket, and just set it up from 'hole to hole' and have an ever changing course in the city

I can't wait! I work 8-4:30 but have an hour and a half commute so I don't get home until about 6. I made this \/ to help with driving form but it's not the same as actually throwing disc's out in a field which I should have time for when the time change happens.

I can't wait, I work more in the beginning of the week and less at the end. Getting out at 4 on Thursday and Friday + Daylight Savings = a full round after work each day!

I have a similar setup but it just isn't the same.
