Types of shots I see listed in some articles:

backhand,
forehand,
sidearm,
flicks,
hyzers,
anhyzers,
lobs,
tomahawks,
thumbers,
hammer shots,
pancakes,
rollers ...

What other kinds of shots are there?

What's a lob?

If I ever say "Lob" I am referring to just tossing a disc out not trying to do anything other then laying up for the next shot.

Some others are:
Grenade - Backhand with disc upside down. Good for up and over
Sidearm Thumber (Can't remember what Schweby calls it but it does have a name)

**The chicken wing is almost like it sounds. Make a wing chicken wing (think chicken dance) with your throwing arm and imagine throwing a disc using a similar position somewhere within the throw. I've seen some guys launch them. They are funky looking
