Review by A.Mutt in course Sycamore Creek Church

2.00 star(s) Good For Family Discin' + Now a full 18 holes + The kind of course that would rarely be crowded. + A reasonable variety of shots, both distance and lines. - Confusing layout with no course map available - Poorly defined natural tees, if defined at all. **********Many holes have their tee...

    Discraft Z Nuke

I've been using the Z Nuke for a while now and its earned its spot in the bag. I usually can only get most my drivers out to 325 but the Z Nuke gets me out to 350 and beyond, and on low controlled lines like others have already said. Its gotten me birdies on some holes that previously were out...

    glow tournaments

Is it a glow plastic tourney or are leds allowed? I've only played night golf tourneys where it was glow plastic only. The people that have done the best in those events have played the course extensively and had already learned their glow discs. If you know the course, not being able to see...

    The Gospel of the PD

so I've been wrestling with whether or not to give the PD a go. I'm concerned it'd overlap too much with my Predators which I currently throw off a lot of tees and have been very happy with them for both accuracy and distance. I've read a lot of this massive thread but not nearly all of it...

    Your "Best of" List

I haven't tried everything out there but I've auditioned a lot of different discs for my bag and my opinions are: Best Stable Driver: Opto Striker I can throw one better than I can throw a Teebird. By better I mean, able to shape nicer lines with more distance. A disc I really trust when I...

Columbus, OH area disc golf courses

I'd recommend both The Players Course at Alum Creek and Gordon Holton Memorial DGC at Delaware State Park http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=3690 http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=1319 both of these won't be too far away from what side of town you're staying on. But if you...

Review by A.Mutt in course Ohio State University DGC

2.00 star(s) Nice Try + Huge cement tees which also are grooved for excellent traction + Nice newish Chainstairs for baskets + Well groomed fairways + nice looking signs - Not the most accessible DG course with it being on a busy campus and pay to park - Holes lack significant variety, feeling...

    what is your longest disc

Can be my 168 Nuke, however my I usually throw my X Avengers the farthest the most consistently. So on a massive distance hole I'd probably try the Nuke but the Avenger is probably a better choice for me.
