I'll add my answer of "in the water" for a total of 3 discs. I have to say that the sound of "thwack" as plastic meets bark at high speed is a much more amusing sound than the slighly muffled "sploosh" as plastic meets liquid. The water was way too cold and sometimes way to gross to wade in...
Despite a couple of near-falls, I've only had one fall so far. It was on a long up-shot and my foot slipped on wet leaves. I bit the dust looking like I was sliding into second base.
I like it. It's a tad better of an idea for a good use for the Groove than mine, which is to toss it out of my sunroof at the knuckleheads who want to ride my bumper at 80mph.
Like many others who have already posted, I play recreationally but I do take it seriously enough to work at improving whether it is a weekly round or two or field practice. I may not be interested in mastering disc golf per se, but rather playing it to my fullest ability without "obsessing"...

Most of my playing buddies are ones that started after I got them involved with playing, so we're mostly still noobs (and playing for fun - from the fun/win thread). We'll typically only take mulligans on really horrible drives - like when the disc gets tacoed into a tree 5 feet in front of the...
I was given a nice hot pink dragon and a 170g burgandy colored champion sidewinder
Now I need to get a stick for getting the dragon back when it decides to go swimming. :D
Several of my goals for the coming year are faint echoes of others posted already.
1. Improve my form.
2. Finish one of my 18-hole "home" courses at or below par.
3. Play at least 3 new courses.
4. Reach and break 300ft drives.
5. Obtain/build a basket and practice putting regularly.
6. Get at...
Well, silly name or not, the Wahoo is a bit too fast for my noodle arm at the moment.
What are some of the more acceptable slower drivers that do float?
