    my bag (new player)

Wow, that's too bad.I would avoid backhand too if I were you. I hope you've seen somebody about it. A supraspinatus tear cost me about 4 months of arm use and about 8 months of DG so I know what its like not to be able to play like you want to. Rehab sucks, but when you play again it's...

    my bag (new player)

Huh, I usually recommend people learn backhand because there is less chance of injury. A sidearm is what permanently retired Scott Stokely. What hurts when you throw backhand? It could be a mechanical issue.

    2009 Star Thrower Roc?

No, not 05 ontarios. The two I saw were from 2006 both marked rancho. Some of the '06 stars have the seam in the middle of the nose and some it is right at the bottem of the nose. I kinda assumed that the middle seam ones were blunt nose ranchos. They fly less stable than the other star rocs...

    Pred Vs. Firebird

I threw predators for years, but I switched to firebirds last year. In my experience they are both similar in high speeds stabiliy and the biggest difference between them is later in flight. Predators are gliding faders while firebirds hyzer without much glide. I think this make firebirds more...

    2009 Star Thrower Roc?

Another quick question-Are these sharp nose ranchos or blunt nose? The star ones from a couple years back were blunt and definitely not as stable as in years past.

Review by -HUC- in course Anna Page Park - East

3.00 star(s) Great course for beginners This is the more beginner friendly course of the two courses in Anna page park. It is mostly open with little elevation change. It is hard to lose a disc because of the open layout and the open under story in the shule. Anna page has great facilities including...

Pay to Play is NOT a con

More course will be built I don't think people appreciate that pay to play courses are important for disc golf because they will convince people to build new disc golf courses. Most of the time people who put in courses almost never have that initially in mind when they get the land. They...

Review by -HUC- in course Village Park

3.00 star(s) Good but not great This is a mostly open course that features good use of elevation change. If there is any wind it really adds to the difficulty. The course has a clean look and is well maintained. There are bathrooms and a water fountain right on hole 1. Holes 1-3 are very long and are par...

Review by -HUC- in course Elver Park

4.00 star(s) Great but run down course This is a well designed course. It has multiple pin placements on most holes. There is a good mix of open and wooded holes, that play up and down a very big hill. There are a couple of par fours. Holes 2 and 17 are as good as anywhere for fun and challenge. The...

Review by -HUC- in course Anna Page Park - West

4.00 star(s) A tale of two courses Anna Page West is the more professional of the two courses. It is tight and technical with holes that stress shot selection and execution. It offers a lot of challenges but is still a lot of fun. The park is very well maintained and has fantastic facilities near the...

Review by -HUC- in course Sandy Point Resort DG Ranch

5.00 star(s) Great course with a unique feel Tucked away up north is a gem of a disc golf course. The course is tight and technical that feels very secluded and wild. It is heavily wooded with well used elevation changes. There is a big variety of length on the holes. They gradually build as you play...

Review by -HUC- in course Standing Rocks

4.00 star(s) Wow This Course is fantastic. Very tight technical wooded course with multiple teepads with multiple routes to the pin. On most holes you get a chance for a risky ace run or a safer deuce. After a bad shot it can be tough to find an easy route to the fairway let alone the basket. It is...
