    One Disc challenge

As a general rule, this is a great way to learn and break in a new disc. A couple of rounds with a new disc on a course that requires different shots is a classroom.

Tips for Improving Your All Around Game.

I am a very aggressive putter. I never focus on just a link - I focus on the pole in the middle. I try to throw all putts on a straight line - no hyzer or anhyzer. I also use the same stance and throwing motion regardless of distance. I can be pretty deadly out to 30 feet. After that, well...

do you enjoy playing with yourself

I appreciate everyone's onanistic tendencies as they have been related here. Maybe now my wife will understand I am not being totally self indulgent when I visit the site.

[Discraft] Should I (or not) get an Impact?

The Impact is shaped like a midrange and I find it is a little more predictable than a Stratus. I use it as my primary midrange from all distances. It will hold any line I choose but if you choke the shot, it is not very forgiving. Overall, I love it and wonder how I got along without it...

    Continuous Acceleration!

Honestly, I think I accidentally discovered this yesterday. I was throwing some practice and was not getting any distance. So I slowed down my x step and tried to really accelerate my arm and focus on my follow through. It helped.

    Long putt or Ace?

Taking the lowest common denominator approach, if you nail one from the tee, it is an ace, regardless of distance or experience. It could be your first throw or the last. Short hole or long hole. If you empty your bag, it is still an ace. But I agree with brokensaint that you should put any...

    About those oft-ignored fairway drivers

Discraft is always my first choice. I prefer the Elite Z Express and the XS as fairway drivers. Both become understable and quite controllable when broken in. Both are nice "off the tee" drivers for shorter holes. I also use an Avenger SS in ESP FLX plastic as a longer fairway driver when...
