As a general rule, this is a great way to learn and break in a new disc. A couple of rounds with a new disc on a course that requires different shots is a classroom.

The Impact is shaped like a midrange and I find it is a little more predictable than a Stratus. I use it as my primary midrange from all distances. It will hold any line I choose but if you choke the shot, it is not very forgiving. Overall, I love it and wonder how I got along without it...

Honestly, I think I accidentally discovered this yesterday. I was throwing some practice and was not getting any distance. So I slowed down my x step and tried to really accelerate my arm and focus on my follow through. It helped.
