Second for the bleach water. I found a disc that had been sitting in a disgusting pond for at least a couple of weeks (could have been months, years, etc). I put it in a bucket of bleach water for a while and that seemed to do the trick.

Yeah it is hard to tell if my beast is going to turn at all or turn and burn. Much more difficult to find the sweet spot on the beast.

The exactly what I use my leopard for. Very little fade without tooo much turn.
