2023 PDGA Champions Cup, April 20-23

Been that way for he better part of multiple seasons now. Evelina is as good as any FPO player has ever been off the tee. She'd be near the top of the leaderboard most weekends if her putting was merely average for FPO.

Good finishing hole that allows for scoring separation. Doesn't need the nontraditional OB ru.... ah crap you got me

I haven't been as active on DGCR for the past year plus. Popped back in because I was enjoying Champions Cup and wanted to see what you all are saying about it. Nice to know that all tournament discussions still drift into ratings or rules discussions. Never change DGCR, never change.

Juliana Corver was incredibly dominant during her run at the top in the late 90's and early 2000's. In 2001 she played 34 FPO events and won 33 of them. https://www.pdga.com/player/7438/stats/2001 1998-2001 were all like that with her playing 30+ FPO events and winning all but once or twice. A...

2023 PDGA Champions Cup, April 20-23

A few years back when Paige was chasing 1000 it always seemed like a pipe dream because she wasn’t averaging 1000+ rated golf for sustained stretches. Kristin is doing that and then some. FPO being collectively higher rated helps make it possible and she’s crushing with good consistent mistake...

    PDGA World Championships 2022

I can't help but root against PP. I never pull for the dynasty. She's done more than her fair share of winning already.

    PDGA World Championships 2022

I'd love to see any of the European women get the win if only for parity's sake. Lot of golf left. Still very much anyone in the top 10's tournament to win.

    PDGA World Championships 2022

Maaaaaan Henna has got to commit to those putts. Those soft wobbly nose down efforts ain't going to get it done.

    PDGA World Championships 2022

Card vibes are a real thing at every level of disc golf. Chase card and especially Henna is killing it. -8 through 11 is impressive as heck.... And as I type that she misses a putt on 12.

    Highbridge Hills - Wisconsin

That's headed in the right direction. There's a lot more campers than disc golfers, with some overlap. And once they're there, a lot of the campers will give disc golf a try. All good ideas. I would love to see some groomed XC ski/Snowshoe trails or even snowmobile trails up there in the winter...

I wouldn't recommend building a giant hard to maintain private course in Escanaba, either. Same issues.

Good luck to whoever decided to poor more money into the money pit. Hope it works out for them. I love that it exists. Will always have a hard time seeing it being remotely sustainable that far from most civilization. Enjoy it while it's there, fellow DGers.

    2022 Great Lakes Open

It's a problem. They're too close to the edge of the fairway. European Open shows how it should be done: spectators 10 feet farther back so that the disc has a little room to work without people having to duck and dodge.

    [Sold] 5 Discs for Trade

Interest in your FB I'm potentially interested in the firebird from your trades post. I'm trying to figure out what kind of plastic it is. Is it glow or champion? I've got an X Comet that's in good shape and/or could dig up a Wizard

2022 LWS Open @ Idlewild (Idlewild Open) July 8-10, 2022

Robinson played one heck of a tournament, holy crap. Credit to Dickerson for a great tournament, too. That was good enough play to usually win at Idlewild. Those two were head and shoulders above the rest this weekend (as was Gannon until final round). I always forget how deadly Dickerson's...
