They make plastic welding kits. I used one to piece my four wheeler fenders back together, easy and works very well. Seems like it should work on a disc as well.
A crush is definitely more stable than the discs your are throwing, if you need anny on it its probably too stable. Moving up from the tee bird a wildcat or flash would probably yield better results, and you can release them flat and expect an s flight.
I got lucky. My friend goes to automotive trade school, and did mine for free. It counted as a project for his bodywork class, so the school also covered all materials.

I'm pissed. Its been exactly a month since I placed an order from DGC and still no package. This is the second time this has happened in seven orders. I've ordered enough stuff where you'd think they would send me at least a damn sticker or something.
No bs but try the turbo with a polecat. I know everybody hates them but they are dead accurate and go perfectly straight for turbo putting. Besides that they suck.
My friend had this problem when throwing sidearm. Might be not be the same cause but he threw overstable discs really really fast, but never had enough snap, so they were spinning to slow for the speed they were traveling.
