    wolfhaley heads to Duluth finally

My brother and I played Tower Ridge 1 and Buck Rub in Eau Claire a couple days ago. Both worthy courses to add to the list. Only about 10 minutes apart too. Tower Ridge is on a XC ski area so long tunnel shots but the rough is nicely trimmed and manageable when you stray off the fairway...

    wolfhaley heads to Duluth finally

Tjader Acres, west of Trego and Spooner is a great course to play if your in the Trego area. Better than Heartwood in my opinion. I havent played Heartwood in a few years but I remember the rough to be really punishing.

    Tucson, July

Yep, play early, buy an umbrella when you get there and enjoy the bug and crowd free disc golf experience.

    non-tournament player playing during tournament

If you start on the lower 9 by 7:30 you will be done and out of the way of the tournament by the time they start. Noone will start on the upper holes because it is too far to walk. Find out from the TD which upper 9 will be played the first round and play that one when you get up top. Skip...

    [Innova] Any Sidewinder Love?

I love Sidewinders, its my "distance" driver. I tried to buy a Christine Jennings Tour Series Sidewinder from the Innova pro shop. $17.99 for the disc and $20.63 shipping for UPS ground to Montana. Sorry Christine, I tried.

How do you actually get better at putting?

This is what helps me. First I decide if I'm going to try and make the putt or lay up. If I decide I'm going to try and make it I'll tell myself, "Just like in the backyard" and then try to give it a good go. If you are afraid to miss, and then miss the comeback putt, you are setting yourself...

    [Discmania] Love my FD’s but

I love my G star FD's but good luck finding any of those anymore. I also love my G star and Star CD2's but those have gone away too. I'll be throwing my remaining FD's and CD2's on the water holes in Phoenix next weekend and then looking for replacements for them when they are gone. Looking...

    Disc golf cart bag height

Thats why a jogging stroller makes a great disc golf cart. Your disc golf bag sits up in the seat and provides easy access to everything without having to bend over. There is usually a rain/sun cover that can be folded out to cover your bag in bad weather. You can find one on craigslist for...

    Help Finding Discs in Tournaments

I prefer the rule the way it is now, rethrow from previous lie with a penalty. But for the sake of discussion, how about a lost disc drop zone? Half way up the fairway or wherever the TD sees fit. Par 4s, maybe 2 drop zones, one for lost disc off the tee and another for other shots.

    Octothorpe and LG Zuca

I have that setup and it works fine. You lose a little space in the side pockets but not much. Get the fenders for the cart or the wheels could rub on the sides of the bag. I use my rainfly on my bag when it is in the cart just to prevent any rubbing on the bag when it is bouncing around in...

2021 Tour Series Disc - What Should I Choose?

G Star Sidewinder, TL, Teebird or Leopard in mid 160's weights would be great. Or R Pro Dart, but I guess thats Nate's disc too.

How do you organize your discs in bag?

In my Octothorpe backpack bag, putters on top, understable drivers on the left, midranges in the middle and overstable drivers on the right of the main pocket. If I have my bag in my Zuca XL backpack cart with a putter pouch on the handle I move my putting putters to the pouch on the handle.

    How did you start?

I was at a Boy Scout Jamboree at Oak Grove park in 1977ish. Disc golf was one of the options. The course must have only been in the ground for a year or less. I played then and I lived only 10 miles away so my friends and I rode our bikes there a couple times over the next couple years. I...

    #Rollout, Everything RidgeRoller

I have a Pound Octothorpe and a Zuca XL backpack cart. The cart works great with the Octo and the Octo is very comfortable for carrying on courses that aren't cart friendly. Cant comment on how the Ridge bag is to carry without using the Roller cart.

HOD 5/12/2020: Diamond X Hole #8 Billings, MT

I aced this hole in a tournament. Terrible shot in a strong left to right wind. I threw a dx roc lefty backhand that blew high and right into the rocks. We could hear it bouncing around and "doink", right into the basket.

    Shoulder Pain While Putting

Maybe putt opposite handed for awhile. Its probably good brain training and will give your good arm a break.

    Memorial changes coming

Or they could leave the mando where it is and move the basket back 80 to 100 feet and make the hole sort of a mirror image of hole 18. The mando prevents big hyzers off the tee and it would take two good placement shots to make 3.
