How Deep is Too Deep: A Putter Question

Throwing an ultimate or regular frisbee is still different than trying to shape a shot or have it hold a line for an extended period of time. I'm not saying you're wrong because your argument makes sense, I just notice a difference.

How Deep is Too Deep: A Putter Question

Well, I gotta disagree with the no difference thing. I have small hands so I have a little of a disadvantage with deep putters. I'm also not a power gripper, I fan grip everything. The times I get caught on the rim is usually when I try I rip one. Id rather baby a mid then try and crush a putter...

How Deep is Too Deep: A Putter Question

Trying to find a good driving putter has become more frustrating than I thought it should have. This is for turnover and straight drives, I have a Zone and Pig for hyzer shots or forehands. I've been using a KC PRO Aviar for all my non hyzer drives because I like the glide it holds what line I...

[Drivers] Your GoTo Speed 9/10 Driver

I cycle through Tee Birds like crazy. I've always got 3 in my bag for flippy, dead nut straight and then pure hyzer line. My Escape is still dead nut straight with decent fade. My flat top Firebird is just too damn beefy unless I'm in a monster headwind. Looks like I'll be trying out some Orcs...

    Salient Baskets: Allllllrighty then

Can't argue with that. I will say that part of these baskets problem may be the installation. They've been in for only a few weeks and are already leaning like crazy.

    Salient Baskets: Allllllrighty then

Now I do agree with one part of your adaption comment. Putting on a bandless basket does cause me adjust a little bit on my line up. I try to dial in on one link, but it is tough to not have that band to lead you in.

    Salient Baskets: Allllllrighty then

Adapt? To a basket that can't catch a normal putt? It's not like it was spitting out a throw in from 120' or a 80mph turbo putt. This was 5 instances of 15' to 20' putts hitting heart of the chains.

[Drivers] Your GoTo Speed 9/10 Driver

See that's the gap I'm debating on! I've got Star Terns, a nice beat ESP Nuke and a Gold Line Halo that serve for my big open fairway shots. I got tired of trying to shape Wraiths and now that I'm discing down I see a good improvement in my scoring. I'm loving the Escape but with wind it's...

    Importance of the Upshot

Simple question here: Would you rather get good at throwing 150' to 200' or banging 40' putts. Personally, I work on both but I'll take the drop in putt any round of the week! With that being said, the upshot is my weakest point of my game. I usually throw a Zone scoop shot if possible because I...

[Drivers] Your GoTo Speed 9/10 Driver

So I'm trying to fill a crucial spot in my bag: A reliable speed 9 or 10 driver for straight flight with a reliable fade. Not talking Firebirds here obviously. Right now I'm going back and forth between a Lucid Escape and a Champ Thunderbird which I'm working on breaking in. I'm liking the...

Review by LastPageDG in course Nevin Park DGC

4.50 star(s) The King of Charlotte This is my absolute favorite Charlotte area course. Nevin will bring out your best and worst qualities of your game. You get somewhat buttered up on holes 1 through 3 and then the survival game starts on holes 4 through 9. Holes 4 and 5 are designed for players who can bomb...

Review by LastPageDG in course Rolling Pines DGC

3.50 star(s) Solid, but not epic Absolutely beautiful park. Rolling Pines is a very fitting name with plenty of elevation changes that are used well throughout the course. Very good signage and an easy course to navigate. You're provided a decent variety of shots so it's not repetitive hole after hole. I...

    Salient Baskets: Allllllrighty then

Today was my second time throwing on these beauties. These caught about as good as a receiver with feet for hands. I'm by no means a putting expert but I'd like think that when I hit dead center chains or solid on the right side that my disc will politely drop in the bucket and I can move on...

Review by LastPageDG in course Oakboro District Park

3.50 star(s) This Course Kicks Ace A great beginner friendly course as well as an outstanding course to work on you putter drives and upshot game. Good variation of shots from the short pads as well the longs. Both sets of pads are concrete and as of 7/22/15 tee signs and benches are almost done being...
