Still looking to deal for Heats. Got cold so now wearing black pants and highlighter long sleeves with a black visor. Discs are in the car so come find me!
Sweet! I will be at distance finals and Fly Mart tonight. I will have my stack of tradable stuff in the car. I am wearing tan shorts and a long sleeve red dry fit.
Headed to Wha Bah now. Will be there wearing a purple striped shirt if you want to trade your Heats. I have a yellow hurricane, blue M1, blue thumb track disc, maul, black dga flex something, and blue Daedalus to offer.
I know the Sun King events are actually four separate events, meaning there will be a Wednesday winner separate from Thursday winner at each course. Anyone know if the DD Wednesday event is separate or combined from Thursday scores?
HB- thanks for all your hard work to put this tournament together. My buddy and I will be first timers this year and are both wildly excited. We greatly appreciate your efforts, updates, and dedication! Here's to you and an awesome tournament week!
Ramada has good rates
I don't know much about hotel quality, but we booked the Ramada at $69/night this morning. They have hot breakfast and it is listed as a tourney sponsor. That's for two queen beds.
Bowling Green Side Events
HB-
Can you respond to the questions I have about the side games at the 2015 Bowling Green Ams? It would be very helpful for planning purposes. Thanks!
1) Hobson Grove Performance Challenge - Is the Wednesday event separate than the Thursday event? In other words...

Wrapping around the high school
Has several holes that require big, but accurate throws. A few narrow shots through the woods adds a nice risk, reward nature. A few creative shots including one straight down a set of stairs and two holes that are long with the basket on the top of a 10' anthill...

Too tight = luck necessary
Some really tremendous holes with long shots necessary. Also, many wooded holes with accuracy necessary. Love the holes that are multiple shot par 4's and 5's. Water is in play on much of the back 9 which is fun because of the thought/strategy required with those...

A great challenge
A long course with many tee shots requiring a big arm to get to the pin. Also, a nice combination of wooded and open holes requiring both left to right and right to left plays. The balance on this course is very nice and I've enjoyed every round I've played here. The 18th hole...

Some very creative shots
My buddies and I played this course first thing in the morning as a warm up to Winthrop but found ourselves really enjoying the challenges that Boyd Hill had to offer. The course started kind of slowly but the shots required, especially on the back 9, were tremendous...

Gorgeous but confusing
An absolutely gorgeous layout with spectacular views throughout. Long holes that require two full throws at least to reach pins plus some holes where putts for a 2 are possible. Very fun to play the some of the holes you see on YouTube for the USDGC. Would play here over...

2 distinctly different 9 hole layouts
The front 9 holes were interesting. Short holes but winds through the trees and was difficult to get near the pins for birdie putts. I wouldn't call it a wooded course, but the trees in the park were used effectively as obstacles. Bumped into some local guys...

Palm Trees make great obstacles!
Short palm trees make great obstacles for this gorgeous walk through the course. A nice mix of open and tight holes with creative course layout. I especially like #2 where you have to fly over some low lying brush and then land in a small area near the pin...

A fun, birdie filled round
A very short course filled with birdie chances. Wooded course with narrow but open fairways. Requires players to be able to move discs left to right and right to left to get close for birdies and ace runs. Can play entire course in less than an hour. Significantly...

Best course no one talks about
Three sets of clearly marked teepads provides three distinct courses that range from birdie fest all the way up to a big challenge to hang around par. None of the courses provides really long shots but the narrow, wooded fairways requires precision off the tee to...

Short, wooded, and challenging
Wooded course with distinct fairways. I love these types of wooded courses where what you are supposed to do is clear. The designers did a very nice job of carving out a narrow fairway. The course is well maintained with difficult but attainable birdie chances. Big...

Grip and Rip!
Very long making it enjoyable to go out and let some discs rip. The course is very open with only the occasional tree in your way of getting to the pin. If you prefer a more technical game, the wooded course on the same site would be a better choice. A couple of very interesting...
