My goals for 2010 are simple-

no new arrests
at least 2 glow rounds at championship caliber courses
increase my putting range beyond 15 feet
increase backhand drive to a consistent 350
get better at throwing accurate rollers
increase dye business

-Work on consistency. I can throw -8 on a course one day, and the next day card a +8 at the same course.
-Play more courses that I haven't played yet.
-Play more rounds w/ other DGCR members.

Consistently cash in open. Considering my first tournament was July 2010, I think Im on right track.

Place top ten in the advanced am division
Develop the finer points of my game (upshots, rollers, putting from outside 20ft)
Develop consistency with both LHBH and RHFH (LHFH is not on the agenda yet)
Drive consistently 350 with my striker (at 320 right now)

Not so much a goal but more of a resolution;

Work on my putting and stop taking gimme putts for granted. (My short game fell apart last year.)

Hit 25% more putts within 30ft.
Break the 400ft. mark on flat ground
Use my Midranges more often

Lhbh and rhfh are basically the same shot... They both fade to the right.

I'm changing my goals a little. I'm slimming it down to just two main things to focus on in order to call my 2012 season a success:

1. Cash in Am 1 at NEFA finals.
2. Become the top rated amateur in New Hampshire.

Both are ambitious goals, but I think they're reachable. I need to focus on practicing more and practicing better. If I focus on building consistency, I think I can get there.

-Finish 18 hole layout at Somerset DGC

-Help with designing Hudson DGC

-Play at least 15 new course

-Play in at least 2 new states

-Become a member of DGCD

-Propose new private Pay to Play (top secret location)

-Play an average of 100 holes a week

-Play more PDGA's

I forgot about....

-Run at least 3 tournaments at Somerset DGC

-Run leagues at Somerset

-Help with sponsorship for other local tournaments

-I also am going to keep up on my scorebook this year. I want to record every round.

-I also want to play at least one round in every month of the year.

Goals from 2011 were a little lofty so I am being more realistic this year.

1. Win a tournament in Open (c'mon poorly attended C tier!)
2. Get BH distance close to 400'
3. Get baskets into the ground at new course
4. Finish the year rated 980

Top 4 in Am Worlds
990+ rating
Win 2 Advanced Tournaments
Putting 90% from 25'
Add 3 states.
10 new courses. (2 down) (this is cheating because there are 10 in Rock Hill and Charlotte I haven't played...)

THere are only 9 registered Amateurs in New Hampshire! Crazy!
There are 545 in NC. Now if Paul (whiz) and Brad would just bag a tournament or 2 for me... Stupid Whiz always making me work for it!
