Any insight on the Classic Verticality rule?

Answered further back in the thread. Crazy is, well, crazy. Verticality doesn't apply to the situation, and never has. The disc was on the playing surface, so you play it from there. You only mark above a disc that is below the playing surface (just like you would a disc suspended over the playing surface).

Will played it correctly. Crazy had it wrong.

They don't have signal out at Deer Lakes in most areas. They update scores when they can.

From the latest tweet it sounds like they found a good spot with cell coverage and they get scores from cards as they pass by - so maybe they're just waiting for the second card to get back to their position so they can grab scores and upload them.
