I was humbled tonight at the USDGC Players Meeting by being awarded the USDGC's Golden Rake award as volunteer of the year and honored in joining an elite group of volunteers. If at the tournament, say hi as I'll again be spotting on hole 9.

distance comp was on tues it looks like. gesinger blasted one.. no one even close.. surprised really even though he is in the elite world group of top guns.

typical no video or anything...its a shame cause these are great videos to see form..

Yeah, I too would've loved to watch this. Weird/annoying they don't want to shoot the distance competition... :\

Yeah. I got all of that. I can't watch the videos in the meeting, it would look bad. But I do see Dickerson lighting it up. I am just bored out of my skull.

I always thought of Dave Greenwell a a surfer dude type.

Somehow Dickerson double-bogey on 18 (which is short today) has in the in clubhouse lead at -4.

Live scoring is showing that Kevin Jones eagled 9 AND 10. If that's right then wow

and Uli took an 8 on the new 999 Hole 13... ouch!

And Jones could easily eagle those holes as he was 2nd place in distance comp yesterday.

Already 7 triples carded and 4 worse than that. I've never been the guy to snag a lot of birds, but keeping those off the card is pretty crucial. I can't imagine penciling a snowman at an event like that, it would wreck me!

and you have to feel bad for Ville Ahokas who as -3 through 11 holes and finished +9... that is 12 over the last 7 holes!!!
