7 Mold/25 Disc Limit

Dunno if a mold count is a great idea. I carry 20 discs but 9 molds...

2 Clutches
3 Ghosts
2 Rivals
2 Patriots
6 SLs
2 Starfires
1 Firebird
1 Cannon
1 Rampage

I would probably have:

1 SP Tsunami
3 Avengers (two Z, one X)
1 Z Avenger SS
1 ESP Zone
1 Z Buzzz
1 Z Buzzz SS
1 S-line P2

Which is exactly what my bag is now. Except that I don't have a Tsunami yet...

You can't limit discs. You could easily lose 20 discs on 1 island green. What then, you have to go home?

FWIW, in ball golf, if you run out of balls in a tournament you go home. It happened to John Daly in the Australian Open. He hit 6 or 7 balls in the water on one hole, and didn't have anymore. Had to withdraw.

Limiting the number of discs that can be carried is a good idea, though I agree with New, that the mold limit would be really hard (if not impossible) to enforce. Also, I am not sure it would actually serve a purpose.

I would have to remove a few discs to get down to 7 / 25. I would probably go with this:

Aviar
1 - 12x KC Pro (New - Stable drives backup)
1 - KC Glo (all putter shots outside 50ft.)
2 - DX P&A (putting, anhyzer drives)

Roc
1 - DX (beat, anhyzers)
2 - KC Pro (1 Thrower, 1 New)
1 - KC Glo (unthrown, backup)

Pain
1 - GL (Stable/OS shots)

Warship
1 - GL (laser straight shots)

Leopard
1 - Star (Straigt and Anhyzer shots)
3 - Champion (1 Worn in, 1 New, 1 CFR Glow)

Saint
2 - GL (most drives, straight, stable)

Firebird
1 - I-Dye Champion (Beat, FH, OH)
1 - Star (New, Crazy OS)

I would have to drop these from my current bag:
Starfire - 1 - Star (Wind driver, FH)
Viking - 1 - Champion (Rarely thrown, backup to Saints)
Sword - 1 - Tournament (Open Field max D, rarely thrown)

The Starfire would be missed, though I could drop the Warship to keep it. It would depend on the course and wind as to which one I would carry.

Champ Glo Gazelles
Super soft Warlocks
1st Run Vibram Ibices (Ibexes)
GL Fuses
Champ Bosses
Z Nukes
Star Destroyers

7 molds/25 discs:

Firebird: 2x Champ (175; 150)
Eagle-X: 2x Star (170; 150); 3x DX (2x 170; 150)
Teebird: 2x Star (170; 150; 3x DX (2x 170; 150)
Comet: Z (175), X (170)
Hornet: 2x Z (170; 150)
Pure: Opto (175)
Rhyno: Champ (175); Pro (170); SE (170); DX (2x 150)

25 discs is a lot to for only seven molds. I got to 22 discs...

Ive got a few more molds in the bag currently but if i had to cut it down to 7

3 Wizards (soft)
1 Z Banger
3 Buzzes (1 ESP 1 Cryztal 1 Z)
2 Champ Firebirds (1 11x 1 flat 12x)
4 Destroyers (3 Star 1 Champ)
1 Champ XCaliber
2 Champ Vulcans

=16

Magnets-4, 1 proto, 2 soft about 170, 1 a 8/10, the other about a 4/10 and a z magnet
Ghost-1
Buzzz-1
Kc Pro Cheetah-2 1-10x beatup 165 for any and every line and a 10x ce blend 175 more stable
Sidewinder-2 both star, 1- 166 for turnover and rollers 1-175 for straighter and hyzer flips
Wraith-2 1 star basically new and 1 of those new bottom stamped 167 for flippy
Old Z predator-1 This thing is a beast, forehands, thumbers, overstable!

13 discs is plenty in the winter!

*D, S/DS and Pro Destroyer
Proline Monster
1 Pearly and 1 Candy 11xTB, 2 DX
1 Pearly Prebarry Leo, 1 Pro Leo
1 SMRD, 1 11x Roc
1 Z Zone
2 B/S Challengers

I don't suppose different variations on a mold count as mold? Like a San Marino vs Rancho version of a disc?

3 Bosses: FR, Champ, and Glow
1 1x champ Beast
1 Riot
2 Buzzes: FR and Glow
2 Drones: Both SE Zs
2 ESP Zeppelins
5 Aviars: 1 Champ P&A, 1 DX P&A, 1 DX Glow, 1 FR Pro, and 1 CE

1 ti buzzz straight shots/approach
1 z buzzz ss slight turnovers/anhyzers

2 z wasps 174, 178 hyzers/forehand touch shots/wind

1 soft anode putting
1 medium anode straight approach, go for its

1 z predator new 175 drives, upshots & hyzer finish
1 z predator used 170 big flex distance

1 star boss new 175 drives/forehand approach
1 star boss beat 170 hyzer flip drives/huge annys
1 blizzard boss 155 tailwind/no wind

1 star roadrunner 175 slightly used hyzer flip come back
1 star roadrunner 170 sweet spot beat in distance hyzer flips/ turn overs/annys

Tl;dr
2 buzzz
2 wasp
2 anode
2 predator
3 boss'
2 roadrunners

6 molds, 13 discs

Normally carry teebirds and preds but picked preds because a 170z pred is a star teebird, mostly.

Wizard - 5
Zeppelin - 1
Roc - 3
Comet - 1
Firebird - 1
PD - 3
PD2 - 1
Boss - 2

That's my current setup, I'd drop the PD2 if I had to keep it to 7 molds and just add in a max weight champ boss instead.

With my experimental Vibram bag...

Lace
Ascent
Trak
Obex
Ibex
Ridge
Summit

My normal bag...

Firebird
Teebird
Leopard
Buzzz
Ridge
Summit
Aviar

I really want 8 molds. Or 9. But I could cope.

FWIW, in ball golf, if you run out of balls in a tournament you go home. It happened to John Daly in the Australian Open. He hit 6 or 7 balls in the water on one hole, and didn't have anymore. Had to withdraw.

But they do not limit the number of balls you are allowed to carry in golf. You could have 100 if they fit in your bag.

Here is my list:
2 - Glow KC Aviars
4 - Buzzzes (2 Glo, 1 Elite X, 1 TI)
2 - Gators (Beadless Star)
3 - Whippets (2 Glow Champ, 1 Star)
3 - Eagles (Star, Champ, Glow Champ)
2 - Wraith (Star)
1 - Destroyer (Blizzard)

4 Challengers - 2 Putting Ds, 1 Driver D, 1 CryZtal
2 Zones - 1 Z, 1 ESP
4 Buzzzs - 2 Z, 2 Ti
4 Escapes - 2 Lucid, 2 Fusion
2 Predators - Both Z
2 NUKEs - All Z
4 Forces - 2 ESP, 2 Z

What's missing from my current setup is an Avenger SS for rollers (NUKEs will do) and my Wasp. Wouldn't be too difficult I don't think...

4 rhynos Beat to brand new.
3 buzzes Stable to understable
1 GL River
3 eagles (all X molds beat to new)
3 PDs (1 beat P-PD, 2 S PDs)
2 Star Maxes
2 Champ firebirds( one flat & one domey)

I carry a lot more molds than 7 but thats mostly because I like Wizards for putting and have a lot of special situation shots in the bag.

1. Champy Rhyno (4)
2. Rpro Pig (2)
3. Star Cro (1)
4. Avenger SS Flx (2)
5. Gold Line River (2)
6. Glow Eagle (2)
7. Echo Star Katana (1)

I drive and approach quite a bit with the Champ Rhynos...always putt with them. The Rpro Pig gives me a bit more meathook for when I need that instead of the Rhyno. The Star Cro is a bit longer then the Rhynos. The Avenger SS Flx is an amazing turnover disc and can be used for anny forehands when I'm stuck on the left side in the schule. Gold Line Rivers for some super glide and very low shots. Glow Eagles are my goto driver. The Echo Star Katana for some easily shaped bomb shots on open holes.

There ya go and I don't even need 25 discs but if I could add another mold I would add an ESP Stratus for backhand rollers.
