bad round excuses thread

Mine are all pretty legitimate.

"I released that early/grip locked it."

"I meant to throw that with more hyzer."

"I really need to put in some fieldwork/putting practice."

"I need more time with this mold/disc." This ties in with the one above it.

"I had too much coffee today."
"It isn't supposed to be 85 degrees in January."

My discs are too cold.

Keep grazing my chest on pull through. [true---thanks a lot, holiday pigouts!]

Bogeys.

I'll easily blame a bad round on all those stupid bogeys, which is often related to the other excuse of 'not having enough birdies.'

I can't play in pants!

This long sleeve jacket is killing me.

Both said by me during my first glow round in early December, where it got all the way down to 38 degrees here in SF. Only time I've ever played in pants, and don't plan on ever doing it again!

"The course gods are not happy today!"

"It's those baskets man, it's those baskets.."

"I shot 50/50 from 40ft at home, I can't putt at a course"

"Wow.. I was supposed to not throw there"

"That one tree! *buys a chainsaw*"

"I've always shot a birdie on this hole but today..."

"The sun was shining in my eyes"

"THAT WAS A FIREBIRD, FADE FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!"

and the best one.. "I forgot my dirt bag."

My personal line sometimes is "Why didn't that disc turnover"?????

These pads suck
I forgot my main putter
I swore that was a head/tail wind
I'm sore from that workout I did
I really need new shoes
The baskets just werent catching
I don't really like this course anyways
I just got back from an injury *never injured*
I just came out to have fun
I literally just got that disc yesterday *been in their bag since I have known them*

"Thats Hickory for you"
-By far my personal favorite

The baskets weren't regulation.
but mostly...
That course is unfair when you don't play well.

Played with a guy who everytime he had a bad throw would say it was because someone complimented him on the hole before, he hated being "jinxed"
