You have the same putter set up as I do. Very cool.

The Monarch is my daughters main driver, but she uses a 150 that she throws tomahawk. The does quite well with it.

Great idea and thread. This will definitely help being I am only a year into playing disc golf.

Do you need two understable drivers ? In your opinion, that are the differences between the Monarch and the Roadrunner?

Well the road runner is really the first disc i ever bought. I don't use it as much as i used to but like to have it in my bag just incase. I have used on some straight thru the tree shots and it worked really well. The monarch on the other hand is my get out of trouble disc. I know the general consensus is use overstable on tomahawks but i like the monarch. It is great to get out of tight woods from errand shots. I also roll it but I am still learning that shot.

My surge SS has a more pronounced S curve than the avenger SS and it also fades a bit more at the end. I bought the avenger SS before they had the surge SS and I may remove one of them as time goes on.

Drivers
174g Champion Teebird
175g DX Valkarie (Kind of on the back burner)
168g ESP Surge SS FLX
173g ESP Avenger SS FLX (love this disc)
168g ESP Stratus (great for anny shots)

Midrange
(Not sure the weight, one of the first discs I bought) DX Shark. (I love this disc, its my go-to disc)
168g ESP FLX Buzzz (still trying to get used to this)

Putters
172g Super Stupid Soft Wizard
174g Super Soft Voodoo

Goofoff discs
150g Star Sidewinder (this thing is CRAZY squirrely I cannot throw it correctly)
169g Rubber Putter
169g Aviar

The last two are mostly so I have more discs to practice putting with

What do you use each of these putters for?
I just got a wizard and it came with a free magic.

I use my voodoo off an on, usually for long putts. It's new so I'm learning it.

The wizard I use for almost all straight shot putts, just step up and put it in the basket. Lob putting is usually done with the magic. I also use the magic for putts on a hill since it's SSS. If I do not want the disc to glide past the basket I use the magic as well, it seems to drop much better.

Also, I drive all three.
Voodoo:Long S curve
Wizard: S curve with harder finish, or straight with hard finish
Magic: Long anhyzer

172 first run champion groove- wide open distance where pinpoint accuracy isn't important
168 first run star destroyer- beat, long more accurate drives
174 first run star destroyer- headwind drives, long forehands, overhands
175 star max- shorter forehands, forehand rollers, overhands
172 pro line leopard- basically a long roc- woods drives, long approaches, will hold any line
172 ce leopard- beat , turnovers up to 300 or so
172 pro wraith- beat to hell, hyzer flips in the woods
175 ching process roc- newish, approaches/drives in the open up to 250 or so
175 ching process roc- ancient, flip up straight and turnover approaches/drives to 250 or so
174 aviar p&a- putting, approaches inside 200 unless it's windy
174 aviar p&a- old, beat- turnovers out to 150 or so

The Stalker takes some getting used to. Don't write it off yet.
I hope so but right now i am not all that thrilled with it. I guess it will take some getting used to.

I should mention also that my avenger ss is a great annhyzer disc. It will hold an anny pretty well and does not S back like the surge.

Two Questions:

1. Why do you carry so many putters?

2. Why do you call a Banshee a "Specialty disc"?

Each putter has different uses, the sonic is for turnover throws that have to keep going right for a while, the aviar is for turnover drives/approaches, sss warlock is for hyzer drives/approaches/longer "putts", Omega SS is a really flippy turnover putter, and the other sss warlock is my regular putter. I actually just took 2 others out. Honestly out of typically 54 throws, give or take a few, you only drive 18 times(sometimes with a putter) most of the other shots are going to be a putt/approach of some sort, shouldn't you have the most of these kind of clubs?

As for the banshee, it's so overstable I use for all kinds of different shots, grenades, spike hyzers, flicks, skip shots, forehand rollers, thumbers, tomahawks, etc... I would classify it as a specialty disc for me.
