As for suggestions, just keep doing what you're doing tim, this is the best specific forum i've ever been on, and considering how large the member base is, it is also very well-behaved.

Keep innovating useful tools, really love all the improvements you've made over my 1.1 years here!

Turle Rock Park- this is a brand new course played it right before the snow started falling. I will make sure and take pics when snows gone and review it. Very long course with a lot of downhill shots and maybe 1-2 uphill shots. An awesome course that definatley makes my top 2.

North Tahoe Regional Park- home course that I help do some work on, this course is a must play if ever in the Tahoe area. Very challenging course, very beautiful land and views, and best of all it's NEVER crowded. You won't be disappointed.

I love this site and visit it multiple times per day(i'm an addict) One thing I would love to see is a member map. It would make it easier for us to contact players in the area where we plan to visit. Like this

This is an amazing site that is really still in its infancy (but its a big healthy baby, baby!). I am excited to see how things shake out here in the years to come.

I would like to see members who have 50 or more courses played be able to enter course ratings without having to put forth the effort to write reviews.

Their knowledge and experience should be valued. Having more input on course ratings would of incredible value in making the course selector tools meaningful and accurate. This data would draw people to the courses they want to play and/or read about.

As of this moment, there are 356 people who have played 50+ courses. 113 of them have written no reviews. 214 have written less than 5, and 217 have written less than 10. This shows that there is a ton of course playing experience out here who have not expressed any sort of course review opinion.

Getting opinions on courses is the #1 purpose of this site and this idea would do the most to help further this goal.

Congrats on nearing 10,000 members!

My two favorite courses are:

Bryan Park

It is a perfect place to practice cranking for distance and is manicured at all times in all seasons.

Dorey Park

This is where I go to practice accuracy. The trees will eat you alive if you aren't consistent and accurate.

The site is perfect. I really cant see where there is anything else to ask for. The score book is incredible, the forums are the most helpful I have every seen, and the course directory is better than the PDGA. Thanks for this great resource and keep up the good work. Happy Holiday to all!

Courses: Pueblo City-http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=418
Beaver Ranch-http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=2488 ...yep, went the homer rout but gotta give Waterworks in KC a huge thumbs up too!

Comment: I love this site! Really great work from a DG enthusiast and geek POV. I agree with the comments on specific disc/plastic review section. The hardest section for me to navigate/find what I want is the profile section. I think an 'all on one page' option would be great. I was also thinking about a "pro corner" featuring monthly tips from top pros on technique and strategy perhaps sectioned by skill level (noob, intermediate, advanced).

My 2 favorite courses are UNC http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=1078 and Buckhornhttp://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=199

I like the idea of a specific disc review section. I know that is currently in the equipment section, but it would be easier to find information if it was a disc review only area. I would also like to see a recommended retailer section. That would come handy when people are travelling or playing courses in unfamiliar cities. Sometimes there is a need to replace a lost disc while out of town.

Other than that I love the site, and hope to use more of its features in the future.

DGCR!!!!

#1 Baby! Whistlers Bend
#2 Never Felt So Good! White River

Whistlers because of the elevation and layout!

White River because it's close, wooded, and just started playing it!

It would be awesome if there was a chat function on this site so we could talk instead of PMing back and forth.

Favorite Courses:

Warwick Town Park - Warwick, NY
Tinicum Park - Erwinna, PA

Improvements: If possible, combine the Dashboard and Public profiles under one section. Both have great info, just would be handy to have it together with tabs/links/etc.

But this site is awesome with all the forums, information, advice I've gotten from other members, marketplace, and so on. The course finder is an incredible tool. That's what I first used as a guest.

Ashe County (High Country) - Jefferson, NC
Stumpy Creek - Mooresville, NC

Honorary mention to Bracketts Bluff - Davidson, NC - RIP

My suggestions are:

1. Add a box on the main page (maybe replace the Reviewed box) for the most viewed courses of the day/week. This should give some courses other than the Top 10 (Flip City/Idlewild, etc) some much-deserved attention.

2. I second Dave242's suggestion for reviewers of a certain status (courses played, gold level, etc) to be able to enter ratings w/o writing reviews.

3. Allow only people who have played, wish listed, or live within a certain distance but not played (i.e. 50 miles) to vote on a review.

4. Extend the time limit for editing a post.

5. It'd be nice if there were a way to show what was updated in a person's course review. Was it a major ammendment to their review, or did they just correct the spelling? Along those same lines, allow people to update the # of times played a course without affecting the course updated info.

6. SPLEL CHEKKER!!!!
