The Airborn Disc Golf Preserve is the brainchild of touring professional Cale Leiviska. Featuring two disc golf courses, the championship layout will challenge every touring professional. With rolling hills, wooded fairways, and plenty of water hazards this course will be an absolute treat to watch on the Disc Golf Network.

I know there are a lot of MN members on here. If any of you are planning to attend as spectators, here is an announcement from the DGPT...

Limited Spectators

Spectators will be allowed to watch as part of a staff-led group, that will be no larger than 100 people.

Up to 200 spectators tickets may be sold. The first round of ticket sales will be at 100 before assessing the rest of tickets to be sold.

Spectator groups will be led by a staff/volunteer, and only allowed to observe play from a distance.

Media, Volunteers & Staff are allowed to spectate after completing their round/job, ONLY if they have signed up for a spectating group in advance.

Spectators must maintain social distancing of 2 meters or more, carry a face covering, and use their face covering if unable to maintain social distancing.
Not sure how to sign up for one of those groups though...

rolling hills is a bit of an exaggeration and so is wooded areas maybe if proper use of lynx

Not excited for the tournament, or for The Preserve courses? When they opened (April? May?) I seem to recall some nice publicity with shots of nice water and trees, but maybe that was just selective videography.

the water is plentiful and beautiful

trees are pretty desperate on the wolf and lynx had some but not "a lot" and i guess apparently they are combining both

tbh this is a pro tour wet dream with the wide open bomber holes and some trees but not a lot and camera crews can get in easily (i cant remember about great cell reception)

i also played the course in mid april so a lot could have potentially changed

I am playing Black Bear tomorrow just to see what I could do in that layout. I played well on Timberwolf, but Lynx is always hit or miss if I can be competitive.

Posted a -5 for course par today on Black Bear. Now, I had a chance for birdie on 18 but butchered the approach. I can think of two other putts I could have made. Still, as of today, tied for 10th best all time (for only being available a week or less). I can see pros easily going -10 or so. I expect my name to drop quickly down the UDisc leaderboard.

I played Highbridge two weekends ago along with a 23-hole doubles tournament last weekend. With leagues and fun rounds, I have played more this month than during any other stretch in the last year. Before today's Black Bear, I played 18 at a new course, Montissippi Park. So, my arm is definitely on the sore and tired side. I normally can stretch out big drives to 390-430, but I think today I was topping out at 370-400. You get a fresh pro who can get 550+ and I can see most of them getting under par on a lot of these holes.

So the Black Bear is a combination of both courses right?

-18 round is coming this weekend.

What's that? McBeth isn't playing?

Never mind.

On a live stream with Brodie on Sunday, Paul said he wasn't going to play until they reached out a few days ahead of time saying they wanted as many top pros there as possible for the CBS coverage.
