Disc golf lingo/terms question

Scratch wedgie from the list. However if anyone is unsure of what it means it is when a disc gets stuck in the side or bottom of the basket.

just one more thing: when people say "flip" instead of "turn" is that because a "flip" is when a disc thrown hyzer turns right whereas a "turn" is when is a hyzer turns left? or do they just mean the same thing?

"Turn over" and "flip" are the same, but "turn" and "flip" have slightly different meanings. Turn over and flip usually refer to a throw that turns right (RHBH) and doesn't come back left. The disc thrown in this situation would be considered flippy or easy to turn over and is going to be an understable disc.

Just by itself, the term "turn" refers to the high-speed turning tendencies of a disc, which all understable discs have and a lot stable discs have, but not overstable discs. A disc can have a good amount of turn without being flippy as long as it fades back to the left (RHBH) at some point. A disc that has good turn but still a good amount of fade are the discs you're going to get those nice S-curve shots with.
