[Question] ID a disc or ask "What is the story on this disc...?" - Take II

I can't read the year on the stamp. Gummy would =R Pro Aviar if the years match up.

you can see the patent no. and San Marino tooling on the bottom.

If you want a disc to replace that one, an Omega SS would work.

That's going to be pretty much any Innova and Millennium driver that was sold in 2007. They run that stamp across a whole buncha discs. Having that list isn't going to narrow it down very much.

Sorry for the terrible formatting and small photo (work blocks eBay), but I scored this nifty little number on eBay the other day. It's the top Google Image result for "1986 la mirada open innova" if the link doesn't work properly. I don't know anything about it, except that it's an Innova disc (Aviar? Coupe?) that's from the '86 La Mirada Open and appears to be some kind of premium plastic. Any insight would be very much appreciated.

Could he be confusing that awesome old school DX for a premi?

NVM, just went and looked at the pic. Is it just me, or does that look like orange CE plastic? I wonder if someone put a retro stamp on a CE Aviar 15 years ago?...

No, it was already said. "Premi" DX plastic doesn't have the weighting agent in it, so it has a clearish Champ plastic look. It's just really, really light DX though.

Somehow in the 2000's they made a more solid looking, Pro looking plastic a Really light DX for discs, at the 120-125 gram set then next jump up was 130 grams and up, Not sure why 125-130 was not made I guess just not popular enough. Basically the putters in the 120-125 grams were what sold more for people using the putter like midrange molds/putter discs as a Dog disc when winds were high enough, over 50 mph to legally use a disc golf putters and putter like midrange molds for dog disc competitions. Rarely were drivers and non putter shaped midrange discs from Innova made this low after first run as they did not sell.

Anybody know what innova disc this might be? I was thinking it's a beast but I'm not 100% sure

any pen markings? the rim doesn't look like a 2005 beast, more like an old new mold beast. the rim does look wide though, maybe an SL or some other L variant. Monster L? Really sweet pearly gummy plastic, though. if the pen has worn off, you can usually read the indentation from the pen if you can get the light to hit it just right

Any idea what this is? Innova, Champ plastic, 2013 Pieradise Open stamp. I put a ruler on the rim and it's about 24 or 25mm, hard to be exact without calipers. Fairly domey, but not a pop-top. Has a bit of turn, even for my noodle arm. Not a Vulcan, I know what those look like.
