I'm surprised how long if took for Salient bashing to commence. Or maybe I missed some earlier. 
The good thing is that Aim is selling it, and not Salient themselves.
If I had more than 20 minutes of wear in on my super cheap Magellan backpack test, maybe I'd be interested in an upgrade. For now, I'm not sold on backpacks at all.
