I was at Rosedale league tonight, and a regional pro told me about a new bag he's designing. It's going to be a backpack in the $160 range that will hold around 20 discs. He also plans to release a 15 disc style in the near future. More info as I hear it.

also a company from SoCal....NoExcuses Disc Golf....find them on Facebook.

It's gonna be sexy. I have seen the bag develop. I'll release more details when I get the green light.

I saw a prototype of the 20 disc backpack today. He's not ready to release pics or comprehensive info, but here are some teasers.

It's very well constructed.
The straps are as comfortable as most pack backpacks I've used.
Pretty light, even loaded up with discs and water.
Has some "killer app" features.
It does not have a built in seat.

I'll probably by the 15 disc variety after seeig this one.

What timko said. It's comfortable, well designed, has lots of options, and looks sexy. You can tell it was designed by a serious disc golfer. It will be easy to spot when it makes its public debut.

Justin said the protos are arriving from the manufacturer on Thursday. Hopefully we'll get some pics.

very nice looking bag!! I love the putter pocket. Any idea when he plans on releasing them to the public? I want one!. I msgd him on fb either way so just curious if you know something chris :)

Hmm, I'm liking the looks of that too. One of my gripes about the Simian is that it's impossible to take a putter out without taking the bag off...not a big deal too often, but sometimes it's nice to just be able to pull your putter out and be done with the hole. I also like the looks of those straps, they look wide and comfy. And it looks to have a pretty ample amount of storage. I definitely want to see more of it.

He told me Julyish. Right now he's in a beta testing stage, letting some pros test them out on tour for a month.

Ran into the creator of these bags at La Mirada yesterday. Cool guy, and very solid bags with TONS of storage. I was shocked at how low the prices for these bags will be.

Looks like a nice bag. Here's the pics for those not on facebook:

18 discs in the main compartment. Nice wide shoulder straps. Rides high on the back. I wonder how the bag will hold up? What's the estimated price for this?

Looks pretty sweet!

Thank you for the picts those look very nice. I was thinking about another bag ill have to look into these.

CHEERS - Koffee

I got told the price is around $160. It's being manufactured and co-designed by an existing bag company. I didn't ask Justin who, but it sure looks a whole like the manufacturing on my Tom Bihn.

I'm a shorter guy (5'4"), and the bag fit very nicely. It rode high on my back, which is something very, very important to me for long tournament days.

That putter pocket zips on the top. It's one of the coolest features of the whole bag. The chair also fits nicely in the side.

good to hear chris. I'm about the same height as you. The putter pocket is the best feature imo. I love it. I also like how the stool is on the side. It's nice and compact bag. Basically what I wanted a revo dual pack to be 8)

It's got a tiny footprint too.
