New vid - Urban DG in the 313: pros invade downtown Detroit

Yeah, spend less time showing me the discs and more time making shots.

Needs to be in HD if the company is using it as a promotional video. Anything less now a days is just dumb. Even my phone will shoot video in 720.

For a group of kids out fooling around it's OK, as a company using it to promote their products it's kind of a fail.

Two other people here (Tennessee and Mr.Dxx [sorry, can't remember it exactly]) have much better quality urban disc golf videos. Watch them and take some cues.

Don't get me wrong though, I love watching any videos. That's just some "constructive" criticism.

As someone who lives in the area, I'd ahve to agree - you'd expect an Urban DG vid Discraft made in their own backyard to be better, in several ways. They got the location right, but that's about all.

Although the sound in that video is horrible.
Sound may have been bad, but that didn't bother me nearly as much as that dude slithering his way across the screen at the end. :gross:

I did not care for the video. Kinda cheesy. They should have gone to other spots, at least one more.

Why rush and put more crap out there? Quality is preferred over quantity in this case.

I would have to say the video is just a good. Like someone said, looks like they put this together pretty quick. The other Urban videos span over weeks so obviously their video will show you their good shots.

I think it was almost there... I do agree though that quality over quantity wins the race, quality is always remembered and shared with others. HD's a reality now, and there was too much product placement even for a an ad, subtle is key, I'm mean, you know I'm going to look at what disc he/she is throwing, give me a sneaky camera angle with a properly held disc...

As for not making the shots, they were pretty far away on some of those and a lot of them were parked... however, why not take a few days and get those money shots?
