That is odd and I wonder if Dynamic Disc Players are allowed to use the Latitude 64 bags even? That would suck even more, as it could be the Latitude 64 bags are what that player is looking for.

Players sponsored by any of the Trilogy companies are allowed to use any bag branded by a Trilogy company. So yes, DD players can use a Lat bag. I as a Westside player carry a DD bag.

The reasoning for carrying Trilogy branded bags is the same as using Trilogy branded discs...promotion and confidence in the product. They feel like they have a broad enough selection of quality bags that every player can find one that works for them without going outside the brand. Makes total sense from a business perspective.
