Push Putt?? Dave Feldberg Interview.

This putt looks more like the one described and exampled in the article:

This one looks different:

Or maybe it's just the angle

They do look different but I think it is a combination of the angle and the distance of the putt. In the first putt he is farther out and pushes off with his leg more. In the second he uses a weight shift but not enough to bring the back leg off the ground. Or they're different putts and I don't know what I'm talking about.

Those both looked like push or pitch putts to me. Notice how they arc up and then are falling down when they get to the basket. You have a larger target that way and shorter comeback putts on misses.

A spin putt will have less up and down movement and will ususally go straight at the basket. They're good for when you don't have the room for a higher pitch but still want to run at the basket. I'm far from a putting expert, but IIRC, Nate Doss uses a spin putt often. His is more of a wrist flick than an underhand pitch like you see KC do in those videos.

It's a different looking technique, but I think Ron Russel uses one too. Discraft has a video on long putts where he shows what he does.

Yeah that discraft video is pretty helpful.
