For those who haven't seen yet, how trusted reviewer status is determined changed a bit:
- Bronze Level:
- Unique Voters: 20
- Number of Reviews: 10
- Vote Score: 100
- Silver Level:
- Unique Voters: 35
- Number of Reviews: 25
- Vote Score: 200
- Gold Level:
- Unique Voters: 90
- Number of Reviews: 35
- Vote Score: 350
- Diamond Level:
- Unique Voters: 250
- Number of Reviews: 60
- Vote Score: 1000
Note: The Vote Score is calculated as the total number of positive votes minus the total number of negative votes. This calculation represents a change introduced with the new format, where previously, the focus was solely on the count of positive votes.
The big difference here obviously is the vote score, which has replaced the positive vote count barrier. Using my stats as an example, instead of my current 1,354 positive votes checking off the previous 1,000 vote barrier, my vote count is actually 1,342, subtracting my 12 negative votes from my positive votes.
This has altered certain member's TR statuses; for instance, some fringe bronze TRs who have 20 or 30 negative votes lost their status despite being within the old 40% ratio rule.
As for the CZ club, I personally don't see any reason to rethink our club - 1,000 positive votes is a mark only 73 reviewers have hit, diamond or cz. That being said, folks who have 250 uniques but some negative votes will have to go further than 1,000 votes to get diamond.
So I figure the CZ club moving forward can be for folks who 1. Have hit 1,000 positive votes, and 2. Do not have enough unique voters AND/OR a high enough vote score to achieve diamond.
WITH ALL OF THAT SAID, I PROPOSE INTRODUCING TWO NEW MEMBERS.
First, Innovadude. While Innovadude was a diamond reviewer before the site change, his vote score is at 765, resulting in him currently being a Gold TR. Since he has over 1,000 positive votes though, I vote we take him in. IF THE SITE DOESN'T WANT TO GRANT HIM THE DIAMOND HE PREVIOUSLY EARNED, I SAY WE GIVE HIM A HOME.
Secondly, Dave242. Dave's larger negative vote count long kept him from achieving diamond reviewer status. Now that we use vote count, however, Dave242's 2,067 positive votes and 1,735 negatives result in a vote score of 332, good enough for a Silver TR status. I recommend Dave242 to the CZ club. He may have played it fast and loose with his reviews, BUT WE'RE A FAST AND LOOSE CROWD.
This also explains Zman44 not being a Diamond yet, as he's also under the 1,000 vote score.
