Love that Vibram, McLovin. Here's another commission job I dyed last night. Some of the lines came out thinner than I anticipated, but all in all, it's not too bad.

This just didn't work out. Massive bleeding and peeling on first dip...then once I recovered, the blue is too dark and the green is just kinda gray (though I didn't expect much on that being on red plastic). Maybe the green will look better in the sunlight since it's the dayglo green...

Three discs made as prizes for a tournament this weekend. Triple tournament: 9 holes normal white tee, 18 holes on custom tee locations, 9 holes on the local ball-golf course. (A 465 par 5 in insane headwind was quite a bit of work )

Yeah, the third one is def. not going to be your friend if you dont park it in the middle.
But based on the reactions they were probably not going to be thrown around a lot anyways. The guys who won them were very pleased, so I can't ask for more.

I would likely not marble clear plastic like that for myself for this reason and based on this experience - and because I think there are more interesting options for clear plastic . But I was asked for that general look by the customer, and the color of the plastic did not give me tons of options.

The red one got a lot darker than wanted though, as I could not get any other colors to bite on it.

Probably because they do from the light pointing down at it from the side.

Edit: Think I know what you mean. Due to some issues with the Jacquard color intensifier I had to use a small amount of violence to get the black rinsed off - and then I dipped again and the lines seemed to have opened up. So there some thin linies of black around parts of the pattern, that might give of a shading effect.

The only factory stamps cooler than DX are DareDevil stamps. I'd pick an Archangel stamp on a new TeeDevil

Last attempt at rainbow stamp removal failed so decided to just skip it and keep it simple on another request from my nephew (who I introduced to the game)

Finally! I can post this:

His mom likes to have discs dyed for her son. I've done his fathers day, and now his birthday for her. This is also my second shave-cream dye. I really like how well it worked out.
