Will was carrying a CE Viper, although I suppose it's likely he cycled DX Vipers as well.

He had a dx viper as well as the ce

I think the majority of this info is outdated too. Not that it matters, because they were still pros throwing them at the top level before they replaced them. "Unusual" discs are always the coolest.

The real question is does anyone throw a groove? That would be unusual since they are hated so much.

Philos FD isnt uncommon , most Discmania players throw them. Lizotte throws MD1

The Sonic guys take this one. Especially Climo. Not a disc a would have expected from him. Disc was garbage for me, but he clearly knows what he's doing so I can't talk.

I should get a Sonic to make me better.

Mark Ellis throws the Rattler. I know it's not a particularly popular disc but apparently it has some uses.

Yeah in those Discmania videos, the distance driving one has Jussi bombing an FD over 500 ft.

I played in a tournament that Will S. played in and he was throwing a zephyr for upshots. This is while he was with Innova.

CD Steiner throws them too. Not just upshots.
