While it's fascinating to read list after list of disc selection, it's not very informative. I've only seen a couple posts that also included their average golf D. With all due respect, I don't care what you're throwing if you're throwing it 100' into a pond or over 350'. =) We need relevance!

I'm horribly bored, so I'm going to list my discs and how I use them

Distance-
NightSift Boss 174g- headwind D, fast teebird
1st Run Champ Boss 173g- L to R, rollers, tailwind D
Star Boss 170g- General distance with control, any line
DF Champ Boss 174g- Overstable D

Control-
S PD Xmas stamp 170g- Overstable control. Flies like 11x KC TB
P PD 175g- Seasoned. Main one. Flat to hyzer
P PD 170g- Past Seasoned, any line
CE Leo 172- Lefty control and hyzers
Proline Leo 170g- Lefty D
Z Xtreme 173g- Crazy Shit

Mids-
1st Run Glo Comet 179g- Jack of all trades. Big annies, soft hyzers, lazer beams, stalls, whatever
ESP Comet 179g- Workhorse. More stable version of Glo Comet
Z Comet 177g- Windy lines, hard hyzers

Putt & Approach-
VP 41D 172g- Straight, turns, jump putts
VP A 174g- Straight to hyzer, wind fighter workhorse
Summit B 174g- Flippy, touch, Rollers may be gone soon since I got some beat VPs
VP B 172g- Puttin

All this equals $$$$

Avg D with Distance 430. Control 400, Mids 340, P&A 300

Right now I am rocing

4 s wizards
4 dx rocs
1 cfr glow whippet
2 star tl
2 star teebird
1 flat champ firebird
1 z surge ss
2 esp forces

and I am enjoying it a lot.

Wraiths
Orcs
Roadrunners
Impacts
Demons
Wizards

been thinking about switching to Rocs from Impacts. Which Rocs were the flippy ones again?

Since everyone is dying to know what's in my bag.......

150 Champ Firebird
165 Qolf
168 Solf
150 QJLS
175 JLS
171 Roc Beat to snot
175?? Roc Slightly seasoned
180 new WWW Roc
175 Proto wizard
175 Proto Wizard
171 Ringer..have been messing with this a bit lately and leaving the wizards at home.

Oh and just for you Dave...Max D 385ish..Golf Line 350.

For a good part of this year ive been throwing:

170g Orion LF - pretty beat for flattened hyzer shots and max D
170g Orion LF - new 1.2 run for long hyzer shots and headwind distance.
167g Pro Valkyrie - for hyzerflips, hard turning anhyzers
171g DX Valkyrie - very beat, primarily for rolling or when I need a disc to turn over no matter what

175g Pro Monster - work horse driver for medium range (300-360') hyzer shots and is my go to forehand disc
172g Z Predator - for very windy days and short hard fading drives

170g Z-Buzzz - dead straight drives, subtle hyzers and long anhyzers up to 330'
178g Z-wasp - hyzer shots under 300', headwind approaches
177g D-Buzzz - turnover midrange

174g Organic Wizard - stable approach disc
174g Soft Wizard - very beat, dead straight approaches and anhyzers
168g Proto Wizard - primary putter

While I can do a lot with my Buzzz I occasionally feel the need for a workable fairway driver. Something fairly easy to flip up from a hyzer while still being predictable. A slower, more predictable Valk would be perfect. Any Suggestions for this slot?

I throw my Orions/Valks in the 400' range and my Buzzzes 300+ if that helps.

3 PDs (1 S, 1 new P, 1 beat up P)
1 ESP Cyclone

2 Rancho Rocs (1 newish, 1 thrashed)
1 Old Sanny Roc

1 Magic
2 Driving Wizards (1 new, 1 beat up)
2 Putting Putters

-

Probably going to put some sort of Max D driver back into my bag, as well as a D Cyclone to have something I can beat into a turnover disc.

Long time reader, first time poster!

Reading this forum (and help from a friend) has changed my form entirely this summer, last summer i was throwing destroyers and wraiths and flipping them to the ground after ~250 feet.
Atm I max at about 380-390 range with my avg golf distance being about 330.
I've been changing my setup almost weekly this summer (except that d buzzz) and am now pretty happy with it, so here it is!

Distance:
2x Pro Wraiths (1 new 174, 1 used 171) -wind, hyzers
2x 172 Dx Wraith (used) -slight turnovers, BIG open booms
2x 172 Dx Valk (used) -long turnovers

Control:
2x ? 12x Firebird (used) -sharp hyzers, overheads, last hope
2x 172g Z Stalker (new) -straight control, getting used to them but liking veeeeeery much
2x 174g D Cyclone (beat) -sharp turnovers, stand still shots

Mid:
2x 175g D Buzzz (3 years old and a newer one) -turnovers, straight straight straight, workhorse
175g ESP Wasp (used) -wind, hyzers (might be replaced by flx Drone, dunno..)

P&A:
2x Zeroline Pures (174 & 171) -putting, straight approaches

Been switching between Pures and Soft/D Magnet combo for a while now, my hands just love the Pures rim so I'm waiting to test Grip Pure, hoping it to be more stable. Is it?
