Hey class, I'm moving down to Wilmington NC this winter and I'm looking for courses. I know NC has a bunch of courses so I'm stoked about that 8)

The closest course I've found VIA the internet is Castle Hayne - which I heard is a good one. However, my sister who just moved down there a few months ago just sent me a picture-message of a basket that she found walking around her local park.

The park is in Ogden - which is in Wilmington and its like a mile from where they live! I'm having her do more 'Recon' for me this week - and I will get to check it out when I visit for Thanksgiving.

I can't seem to find any mention of it through google, so I'm assuming its either small or new. Either way I'm pumped to have a course right in my *future* back-yard.

Anyone been out to this one yet? I'd like some info on the general vibe of it. How many holes, how did you like it, how is the terrain, etc.

Thanks in advance 8) 8) 8)

Here's a link to Wilmington's club site http://www.newhanoverdgc.com . I live in Richlands, NC. Which is about an hour north of Wilmington. There are 7 courses in Eastern NC. There's Castle Hayne/Wilmington, Northeast Creek Park/Jacksonville, Steed Park/Richlands (I live 5mins from it), Barnet Park/ Kinston, East Carolina University and West Meadowbrook Park/Greenville and Glennburnie Park/New Bern.

Check out the link and you'll see why Castle Hayne's aka's are Castle Payne and The Payne. It's pretty sick!

When you come to NC for Thanksgiving and after you play Castle Hayne you feel like driving to Jacksonville and/or Richlands let me know and I'll go throw with you.

Here are Club sites for Greenville http://www.gvdg.org/

and Kinston http://www.kinstondiscgolf.com/

There is a site for Jacksonville/Richlands but its not working right now.

Thanks man, I'll definitely shoot you a PM when I'm headed down there. I heard castle hayne' had that nick-name 8)

None of those names rang a bell other than the Castle - Which is about 10 minutes from where I'm going to be living. I still can't believe theres a course less than 2 miles from the house though. Still no reviews on that one though. :?
