Hi
I have been playing for a year now. what can i expect in distance
today i can get teebirds to 400ft, max 420 golf line and halo/nukes 460ft golf line....is that bad?

Yes that is horrible. You should at least be throwing nukes 700 and teebirds 650. If you can't throw your polecat 500 feet then you should just give up in disc golf all together.

On serious note, yes that is very exceptional for a year in.

That would be pretty amazing even after playing for many years.

Noob...video or it didn't,t happen. And I totally agree with aPfaff. Personally I can only get my polecat out to 380 and I feel like a disc golf failure.

Yeah that's exceptional. But where are these discs landing? How's your short game? Can you putt?

It is for real...I can make a video if you don´t believe...I have done this many times...not only once...many times...both on course and in the field.
I also did try a turnaround some times and did throw a PD around 500-510 ft =)

they are landing pretty straight...and the teebirds very straigt...i´m working on my short game and putting...i´m comfortable putting up til 20 ft..
I had played some tourneys this year...i´m a little inconsistent still...some rounds I do 980 rating...next can be 930...but it has only been one year..

I've been playing 2 years and I'm getting my Halo out to about 850 - 900 golf line. So yeah after a year you're right on track! Most courses I just bring my gumbputt out now, only way to challenge myself.

no really i don´t know what to expect after one year playing...both in throwing distance or in round rating....therefor I need help from you guys here...Am I going the right way...a bit on the way..

I'll try to give you the benefit of the doubt here ;)

I suppose you've seen the PDGA divisions?

www.pdga.com/files/documents/PlayersDivisionGrid_0.pdf

You sometimes throw as poorly as... a top player in MA2.

I don't have the average PDGA rating on the tip of my tongue. But, I think it's safe to say that you're above the average for all rated amateurs. Possibly well above.

For a player one year in, especially, you're doing very well.

You are doing quite well. Your disitances are the same as mine after 3 years of playing. My best PDGA round was rated 985 but I am terribly inconsistent right now and I don't play many PDGA tournaments. My best throw on flat ground was with a Nuke and went 535'.

I won't.

Pictures/videos/some other proof or it didn't happen. I admit, I am sort of an a$$ in that respect. The fact that you are even asking if a 930 rating is any good implies that this is most likely a lie. It means you've played in tourney's and have undoubtedly interacted with other disc golfers and if that were really the case you would already know that you aren't doing good you're a freak of nature to be throwing like that after only one year. Not that it can't happen...just extremely unlikely.

After being duped as many times as I have been over the years it's a wonder I believe anything I read on the 'net at all.

ha, polecat

Is Jessica Alba a bad person to date after a year?

....no seriously I think you're doing quite well. I've been playing a year and half and can get similar distances, but only in the last month or so. Unfortunately I can't get these distances accurately. So if you've got D like that you should be able to reach 90% of holes out there...now do it accurately!
