Try rubbing yourself with and carrying name brand dryer sheets on your person. It seems to keep them away.

LMAO! I totally forgot about this. I was looking at all my gear and was trying to figure out why I had those dryer sheets in there. Yes, this works really well actually.

I'm afraid age may be catching up with me. Oh and I guess it is the memory that goes first, but I forgot what the other thing was.

I use DEET.

I've never had adverse effects from it, but I apply it as sparingly as possible and wash immediately after I go inside.

I've pretty much come to the conclusion that EVERYTHING is going to cause a terrible cancer given enough time. I'm okay with that.

I use plenty of OFF OutDoor. Also sometimes use the OFF Fan, works pretty well, just looks goofy.

If you have water proof shoes, step in those puddles cause that will usually kill the eggs.

These work well when staying in one location, not sure about moving around. Maybe attaching to the outside of a DG bag would work well?
