Need some help with my form!!!

Ok. I know it's been awhile but here is a new video. To me it looks like I've made some improvement, but when I go out to the course and get a disc in my hands alot of it gets messed up a bit.

This video is with no disc and looks pretty good to me. What do u guys think?

Your stride is all disconnected and you end up in a stance that is way too wide for you and can't make it onto your front leg. You turn and then stride, when it should be one move turning while striding or start the hip/weight stride first and turn back. You send your front foot forward ahead of your hips/weight, when you should be leading with your hips/weight forward and then the foot like in the Hershyzer(don't kick the wall before your butt hits it). Also your upper arm is hugging/collapsing into your chest too much/tight, need to get/keep your elbow out/forward away from your chest - it will feel like you have no arm reachback, but you have to turn your shoulders/body further back. I'd recommend doing the One Leg Drill and just swing a hammer or something heavy back and forth like a pendulum.

Havent posted in awhile but i believe i have made some significant progress. Im actually throwing far enough to park some holes i wouldnt have dreamed of parking last year. But i feel like i may be strong arming it, in this video i actively break my elbow, let the hips get me to the right pec and then i use my triceps to extend the elbow. Is this ok? Or am i suppose to be loose all the way through with the forearm and only grip the crap out of it at the last second?
I think alot of the issues i had before have been addressed on a positive note, probably not all, but hopefully most. Any and all feedback is appreciated, wouldnt have made the progress i have had if it wasnt for you sidewinder and slowplastic explaining things for me. Thank you

That's correct with the arm.

You still aren't shifting balanced onto the front leg, your front leg spins out before your weight shifts, and your rear leg is pushing you around the front leg late instead of into it the front leg before your plant. Also get your chin up above your shoulder/s.

I came across that shawn clements sequencing drill and tried putting it into practice with the towel drill. This is the first time i had gotten the towel to sound like a whip. Does my form look better here? I was basically falling backward and letting my leg catch me.

Yeah, that looks better. Your stride is too long though and end up pushing your upper body over instead of pushing the hips forward with everything dynamically stacked upright into the plant.

Awesome. Ill definitely try shortening it up a bit. I have a video of your standstill downloaded to compare it to and i see exactly what you mean. Thanks again sidewinder.

Got a chance to do some fieldwork a couple of times this week. Im hitting 400 pretty consistently now which was my original goal ☺. I atill feel like im leaving distance on the table though... Here is how it has been breaking down distance wise
Putters = 260 - 290ft
Mids = 310 - 330
Drivers = 370 - 420 hitting 400+ 7/10 throws.
Anything drastic in my form you can see?

I took a behind the tee video to see if there were any issues with my posture when viewing from that angle...

Also in this and the previous video does it look like my arm gets trapped behind my shoulder? It doesn't feel that way but video seems to suggest otherwise, unless my shoulders are turning to early/leading with my chin/overeager to watch my shot...

You are rising into the plant instead of falling. Also see PSA about filming vertical...you are about an inch tall or 16 pixels on my screen. https://www.dgcoursereview.com/forums/showthread.php?t=126516

Sorry about that, ill get some video filming horizontal. I didnt realize filming that way made it difficult to see.

In the first video my swing plane started to high and in the second video i tried to correct it but in result i forgot to keep left arm on inside of my thigh and i was "overeager to watch my shot" essentially.

I was doing the reciprocating dingle arm and best downswing shawn clements drills and i cut a handhold into an old disc to replicate an actual swing.

It appears (to me at least) that i am finally stacked on that front leg and the rear foot is completely deweighted.

The funny thing is that disc felt like it was going to really rip out of my hand even though i didnt accelerate very fast.

Does everything look better here?

It looks pretty decent getting to the transition in the first video, but then you turn forward rather than shifting from behind. Here is a screen capture at the transition, with arrows showing how I would describe you should be shifting instead. You should drop your right hip and heel down (crush the can), while pushing your left hip targetward continually from your left instep (lets you keep reaching back too). Once the heel is down you'll have no choice but unwind...or at least as it's going down you'll start to unwind.

Instead what is happening from this position, is your front knee/hip are opening as the heel drops, which brings the disc forward, and then your back foot is spinning forward and the rear knee is coming forward to the left/in front of you.

You need to change this so the weight shifts from the rear leg and under/behind you, then the front leg catches the weight and it will send the momentum up your torso.

To put it large in the post, after you've uploaded the picture to the post and you're still in the posting screen, click on the link of the file you've uploaded. You can then right click on the picture and copy the address of the image. Then you can insert it as a normal image by pasting the URL you just copied into the image tags that are created when you click the insert image button.

It's hard to say since it's another still shot. The arrows I drew are where your momentum needs to go and how it should feel to you during the throw. So I'd need to see a video to understand if you are transferring your weight the correct way, or are going to spin forward/left as before. But it does look like your left hip is directed behind you, like in the Door Frame Drills that SW22 created. Your momentum just needs to shift that direction as well, rather than just be in that position and then start your throw as you have been.
