Great views of the rockies. Good place to practice playing in the wind. A couple picturesque water holes. No chance to lose discs ( other than water)

Wide open and mostly boring. No tee signs or "next tee" signs.

This course has too much water. It's too easy to lose a disc.

-There is water in play on a lot of the the holes. Many of the baskets are near water, which really makes you decide whether you want to go for it or play it safe. A couple of the holes throw directly over the water. The ponds on the course are by far its best feature.
-The course has very nice DGA baskets
-The park is well groomed and taken care of and the only place you will probably lose a disc is in the water
-Very nice, big concrete tee-pads that have the hole number and hole distance marked directly on them
-Several of the holes have some elevation change on them
-A decent amount of distances ranging from about 190 feet to about 400 feet
-Information board and practice basket

-The course is very wide open and does not have very many trees or other obstacles. The only major obstacles this course has is the water hazards
-The course gets pretty repetitive after a while as most of the shots are just straight wide open shots, with very few doglegs right or left
-There are really no truly challenging holes on this course or any holes that are really that memorable.
-The course has no tee-signs, which can make it a little hard to find the next tee-pad at times
-The course is a little hard to navigate at times. There are not markings pointing you to the next tee and there are some long walks between several of the tees, which can lead to navigation issues. A sign pointing to the next tee would be really nice.
-The information board and practice basket are nowhere near the first tee, which can make it confusing to find the first tee-pad
-The park is a very busy park with a lot of non disc golfer traffic it and has lots of people walking all over the fairways and nearby sidewalks, which could lead to quite a few safety issues

Overall, this is not a very memorable course. Non of the holes are very challenging or stand out very much. Despite the fact that the course is not very hard, I find it would be frustrating for beginning players because of the amount of water on the course, which could lead to a lot of discs going into the water. Overall, its not a bad course but it is also not a very exciting course.

-Generally a fun place to play for armature to advanced players.

-However, due to the many water hazards, I wouldn't recommend beginners just starting out.

-The tee pads are concrete and very nicely marked.

-Not usually too busy so you can throw a couple extra discs and not feel rushed.

Wretchedly disgusting stagnant water swallows discs all day long.

The swamp people that seemingly reside out there pull out discs by the hand full! They sell discs on the shore whether you have your name and number on there or not.

Don't get me wrong someone's got to get the massive amount of discs out of the water; but have the decadency to pick up the phone and at least text someone about their disc before selling it off.

Furthermore, some the people in the park have absolutely no clue that there's a golf course. Sometimes you will have to skip holes because people are picnicking in the middle of the fairway!

This is my "home" course, as I live just across the way. It's a good place to learn to play, Just don't bring your expensive discs to this park. If you throw it in you won't see it ever again (unless you come back on the right day and pay to get it back)

Nice tee boxes and baskets. Placement of baskets in relation to water is good, some gentle elevation changes add a little challenge.

Overall way too open. Not much in the way of obstacles, the water REALLY smells BAD. If you dump a disc in the water, make sure all your immunizations are current before going in after it. Lots of geese and poop everywhere. The ground is soggy and wet (muddy around the baskets) if you play before noon.

Until there are some more mature trees in this park, this course is way too open and easy for an experienced player, although it does feel good to launch a whopper of a drive on several holes here.

It may be better in the winter when the water is frozen and doesn't stink so bad. Depending on which way the wind is blowing it smells like you're playing in a sewer.

Wide open, easy to just gun for the hole. No finesse needed here. Course map at the beginning is helpful.

The ponds and creek provide the only challenge. The trees add to the course, but for now are too young to add any challenge. As others have said, the ducks and geese cause a bit of a problem with their waste.

I wish this course wasn't the closest to home. As I didn't find this one very challenging.

Expo Park is a short course great for beginners and more experienced players. The fairways are big as are the tee pads. Beginners don't have to worry about trees. I only play for aces. It is really fun to try and ace nearly every hole. Crowds are pretty minimal.

Water! I don't play #13 anymore because it is high risk, low reward. Who designed this course? Losing discs makes me want to give up the sport. If you lose your disc into the lake (or the creek) you are not getting it back unless you retrieve it yourself. People regularly wade in the lake and retrieve piles of discs. I have lost 5 discs with my number on them and I have never been called. If the creek is flooded just lay up. It floods regularly. The course has a lot of ducks and geese and their excrement. The tee pads have distances, but some are wrong. The pro tees are not very visible. The water is putrid and is trash filled.

The park offers locals many nice amenities so be polite to others in the park. You should play this course in Denver if you like to go for aces. Take your cheap discs and if you go for a hole near water be prepared for the consequences.

Easy access to get to, parking is very reasonable. Nice large kiosik with large map to study. Teepads are massive, with interesting grooves, obviously some time spent on those. I like the big numbers and hole length on the teepad. Not a whole lot of elevation here, but the water definately comes into play on several holes to add some challenge. Plays much like Vista del Camino in Phoenix. A few of the baskets are close to the water which will make you think about what shot to take. Carefully thrown discs will allow for an easy par on these holes.

Study the map at the kiosik first otherwise navigation can be an issue. Minimal trees at this park and the yonger ones that there are really don't affect the flight path too much. Most of the holes are wide open, just let it fly. Elevation is pretty minimal. Some of the teepads are slightly uneven, nothing too distracting though. The landscape here just doesn't lend itself to a great course layout, i.e. fairly flat and a few trees. The water is a hazard in itself. Black smelly water thanks to the numerous geese that make that park their own. I think the water is some sort of reclaimed "cleaned" water. Lose a disc in that and good luck. Watch your step, goose poop is there in large amounts. Large sidewalk goes throughout park and is used by many, this can cause delays in teeing off.

If you are looking for water holes in the area, then this is the place to go. Aside from the water, this course lacks other real obstacles to create a challenge to more experienced players and they should easily be able to shoot under par for this course. New players could get easily frustrated on some of the water holes by losing discs, not a good way to get them started into disc golf.

It has 18 holes with tee boxes. The park is easily accessible.

As others mentioned, goose "dirt" everywhere. To make matters worse, I guess they decided that covering all available grass with additional manure would help green it up. While this may be true, I spent the entire time literally playing in poo. Smelled great. Oh ya, The smallest group out there was a foursome. Most groups were 5+. I saw several of 7 and 8. Are you serious? All of the holes are about the same length and other than some water hazards, there is no technicality to it.

Less poop, smaller groups, and more trees would make this course a winner.

Excellent tee pads with marked distances on them. Very open course with few obstacles other than water. Great place to practice in the wind. Grass is very short and well kept. Good place for a low scoring round if you stay dry.

Lot of geese droppings through out the course. The water is gross. The ground can be soggy in the lower areas. Not very technical due to lack of trees. Some pedestrian traffic.

Holes 12 & 13 are placed dangerously close to the water. Some times laying up is better than getting wet. Watch the skip because the grass is short. Bring a golden retriever and a lot of courage. I recommend having a Hydra or a Dragon for this course because they float. Can get real windy.

The course has some of the most original and functional teepads I have seen. Imagine the symbol used for "signal strength" except 10 feet long. Baskets are really nice and park has a clean look.

There is goose crap everywhere. You could put your bag in it, slip on it on the tee, get it on your disc etc.
The landscape of the course is barren, no big mature trees, no bushes, no life really. It makes it difficult to be creative with the design -which where the con of the water comes in. There are some man made lakes that run through the course. I'm all for some water shots, but to make the course "challenging" by putting 14 or so of the baskets within 25 feet of water is just poor. Again, the risk should lose you strokes, not discs. Maybe one or two close to the water when you really have to challenge and make that decision to go for it or not is fine, but laying up or playing safe so you don't lose a disc almost every hole is not disc golf. I guess without these shots, the course might be even worse.

Not too much you can do with a flat sterile park like that I'm afraid.
Really bad public sculpture as well.
