Pros:

There are 18 baskets.
There are 18 teepads.
There is some modest variety, and a couple very challenging holes.

Cons:

Nearly every hole is blind.
The course is 99% flat.
Areas closest to the pond can be a little swampy.
Mosquitoes can be brutal in the summer time.
When alternate pin placements were added a few years back - it made the "blind" condition worse.
Park fees are a little high - but consistent with DE State Parks.
Park Management is hostile to the DG Community.

Other Thoughts:

With the "relationship" of the park staff to the DG ers in general the way it is, it's surprising they haven't abandoned this as a viable DG site.

Best time to play Lums is in the winter, when visibility is at it's best.

You're better off going to Lums to go fishing, as I've heard of really nice Crappie in the Pond. Of course you can't eat them, due to all the PCB's.
