Pros:
It was designed for kids and hopefully it is promoting the sport effectively because of that. The course is very short and very accessible.
Cons:
It is wide open and incredibly short, really too short for even a putter to be thrown too hard most of the time. The course is dirt with dirt tee pads and stickers abound.
Other Thoughts:
There is nothing intrinsically wrong with this course since it does meet its goals, but don't make the mistake of treating this as a serious DG course. It meets its purpose. If you don't feel this review is "logical", just ask yourself what a nine hole course that is 1300 feet and all on dirt and weeds should score. I understand the purpose of the course and I understand the history the city and the city's disc golfers have. I am very glad this course is here, and I hope that tons of kids are using it. But this website is about giving the courses scores based on their merit, not their meaning.
