ELEVATION ELEVATION ELEVATION 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Oct 1, 2019 Played the course:once

Pros:

I really loved the 9 hole course. It is super unique and fun. The signs really help and they have great names for the holes. Baskets and paths. Half hole have huge elevation changes. Who ever laid out this course was an evil genius. Hey there is a step heal lets build a course up and down and around. It really is fun.
This course is worth it just for the view on 2 and 9.

Cons:

If you have bad legs or heart this course may be unplayable. It is really steep. Also the wind is pretty hard to deal with on windy days. #9 is missing a sign and that made me sad since I thought the names they gave the holes are witty and funny.

Other Thoughts:

Someone with a bad ticker is going to pass out climbing this hill and that will add to the genius of this course. If you want to play with elevation this is the 9 hole to do it.

Pros:

For a 9 hole course, this is amazing! Many kinds of shots are required for this course. The first hole is scary, and stays that way throughout the course. Though most of the holes are short, they go straight uphill! Holes 1, 7 and 8 are very challenging in this regards. Hole 2 gives great views of the surrounding mountains. The middle holes are more tame, but still have plenty of trees to get in the way. A well chosen line and throw will be rewarded with a birdie. For the land that is used, it is very well thought out. Baskets in great shape. Teesigns on every hole with great info on them.

Cons:

This course definately has a trash problem on some of the holes. Why can't people use them? This definately takes away from the experience. There are rubber mats on half the holes that are not even, but not that big of a deal. One of the trails from 9 crossees the 2nd fairway, but this is clearly marked and don't see that it is much of an issue.

Other Thoughts:

This is probably the best 9 hole course I have played. Extreme elevation changes make it a challenge to say the least. On the downhill shots I would suggest using a putter only so your drives are not carried away by the wind. I like how the middle of the course is flatter and a little easier. Navigation wasy easy due to the great signs. I never thought I would give a 4/5 disc to a 9 hole course, but here it is. I would definately play this course again.
