I can consistently get a forehand and backhand to 400. best throw by far was a roller(if that counts) the hole is 600+ Hole 8 long tee at Sawyer Ludwig, Marion, Ohio. I was about 35 short of the pin so 560'+. shot just kept rolling and never turned left or right. finally just died.

disc was a seasoned 175 g champ orc

my best throw ever was fh about 450 ft. it was with a esp nuke 174 with a left to right wind. i normally throw about 330ft the wind started to flip it but not all the way it just slowly fell to the left. (Video coming soon)

to everyone who claims to max out over 400:

prove it.

get yer hands on a cam and take some vid.

cause i think most of you are full of karp.

Really? 400'+ is not uncommon for Big Boy arms. I can reach 400' even with a slight head wind. If I do get a camera I'll be glad to show you. Won't be hard.

The OP said flat ground only please. And what is a spin throw? All my throws spin.

Means you do a 360 spin rather than x-step to generate power....very reckless and hilarious to watch people attempt this style on Eastern Hardwood courses.

I've done a 360 throw for years, not very accurate. You need a long concrete tee pad. It works on a open field throws were accuracy isn't as important as say a tunnel shot in the woods. You gain some some added distance. The hard part is the proper release point coming out of the 360 spin. I used to play the 18th hole at Tinicum with 2 360's to get me within putting distance. Limited sucsess sometimes good and sometimes I just zig-zaged down the open fairway.
I think you can do just as well with a controlled X-step.

Best throw BH X-step, concrete tee = 380' (measured)
Controlled with accuracy = 325'

Searching for distance...do you really live in Anger Man Land? Thats awesome it's like your a superhero....SD from Angrymanland!

My typical max is about 300-320. I've flirted with longer drives before but they tend to mess up my short game. Just learning to get those big hyzer bombs out there for distance. <3 Eagles.

I live in a village/small town called Husum in the county/state of Ångermanland.
When Ångermanland is translated to ENGLISH it says Angermanland but it could mean Ånger=Regret/Repentance/remorse Man=Man Land=land/country.
What fun would it be to have super powers when playing discgolf .?;...Ace every hole:doh: and be able to throw over the Atlantic ocean with a markerdisc:rolleyes:.But I would really want to be able to fly to all countries in the world and play most tournaments in one year of the history of discgolf.

mine was 500 and some pennies, but it was wind assisted and pretty much my form was perfect for that throw. nice flex shot. without wind I pretty much top out at 425-450 (when trying for distance)

I've thrown a Wraith about 430' and many Orcs about the same. Everyone tells me to go over to Wraiths for the extra 30' but I just don't see a reason to do it. Plus my son throws Wraiths and that would be copying.

I've had 2 or 3 drives that just barely broke 400 on flat ground when I got everything right, unfortunately that usually happens when I'm trying to get to a hole at 360' and I overshoot it into the rough. Then I get to the 400' hole and try to do it again and end up throwing it into the ground 150' off the tee...

apprx. 435', parked hole 17 at hunter park in Tulsa, OK (measures 440') - assuming the footage is properly done. Wind assisted with a sidewinder.

Longest non-wind assisted throw would be apprx. 425', 10' short of the shortest placement at Albert Oakland Back course on hole 3 - hyzerflip with a beat pro wraith.

I believe I hit 400...may have been a little over or a little under with a 166 Champ Monarch.

# 5 at Red Rocks.....

I measured one in my practice filed at 460ft. It was an overhand shot with an Epic. I got it to turn all the way over and sailed into a nice flex shot after the barrel roll. I had a decent tail wind to help push it when it leveled out.

My longest throw on a course was around 425ft. A deuce on a wide open 440ft hole with a slightly elevated basket again using an Epic overhand shot.

These were both very good shots and I cannot get that distance very often.

Roughly 450-500', beat dx orc at Banklick (Lincoln Ridge) Woods in '06. Past old hole 18, up near the road, so pretty level.

My longest drive during an actually round was at Heritage Farm Park in MD, I overdrove hole 9 which was listed as 470' or something like that. I've hit 500' on the field before but usually don't try to throw that hard during an actually round.
