the Roc vs Buzzz debate is so silly.....they are different discs for different purposes

There is overlap but they are essentially different discs with different uses

This guy gets it,while I do love my buzzzes there are shots I have to throw my beat up dx ontario roc...that disc changed my game.

For shots between putter and fairway driver distance??? For me that would be between 320' and 365'. Here I go with another ball golf analogy...Not carrying mids would be like not carrying anything between a 7-iron and a 3-iron.

I've found no need for a mid ever... some ppl need mids b/c they don't like wide-rimmed drivers or problems with their hand, etc

The closest thing I throw to a true mid is a Pig which I'd be tempted to say is a mid

If you carry a slow fairway like a Leopard, I often debate whether I need a mid. I have gotten to where I use a Roc and a Comet more for long approaches since they are nice and slow yet can carry a tunnel. FWIW if not for carrying the Leopard, I might be more fond of a Buzzz or Core.

This isn't trolling. I know how to troll. We actually are writing papers. And it's an opinion paper so I wanted other people's OPINIONS. Not facts. So, some of these quotes and comments are going in my paper. Thank you for all your OPINIONS and keep them coming if you want to express them.

And I'm a Senior in high school. So it is for a 12th grade paper.

I prefer the grip on the Z buzzz. Much smoother release from my hand. Easy to replace. Know exactly what kind to get without needing the history behind it. Not rare unlike 100's of different rocs. Both great though, to each his own.

Seriously who cares? People need to stop thinking this forum has rules everyone needs to know on the first post, OR ELSE. It's the internet, people are going to post in all lowercase and others with the CAPS LOCK ON but remember just because you take this seriously, doesn't mean the person your talking to will. Just because you think this may or may not be a valid topic is only your view, I'm sure the OP sees some value in this.

I love seeing so many of our members get so defensive of forums search function (which sucks IMO and could be more user friendly) and post about how someone will be Prerubed for starting a new thread. If all you have to do is Prerube someone your spending too much time on here in the first place.

Keep it up young buck and kill that paper, I hope you get an A.

Go Buzzz, easy to find and can always seem to get the same type without going all over creation and or spending a fortune to get what your looking for.

I throw my z buzzz more than anything other than my putter. I've never tried a roc, but with my cheetah, shark, stingray and mako doing what I need them to do... is there any reason to even try a roc?

I simply do not like the feel of a putter/midrange without a bead. So to answer this question, I chose the Roc. I hear so many people say they hate the roc because of the feel, or too many types, or they just don't throw right. In my opinion, the Roc is a disc that does it all. You can buy a brand new DX Roc and it will be as stable as you will need for any shot of the midrange type. I've thrown plenty of buzzes and in the wind, the roc trumps them as they seem to throw with the wind rather then against. Everyone asks me why I have 5 rocs in my bag. I have friends with 5 buzzes who talk about me having that many rocs. With discraft you have to have a buzzz, wasp, and hornet to do what 1 roc can do. Just my opinion.

You only need one disc and that is a roc, throw it every shot your score is gonna drop.

I feel like it doesn't matter which I throw I can get either to do exactly what I want. I usually throw Rocs but I also love ANY flat Buzzz out there, from Pro-D to 2FRs. They all freaking rule.

I really need to try out the Glo FLX. Only one I haven't gotten at yet.

I think the Buzzz is a lot easier to control on flicks too.

its funny but true...for every buzzz lover who criticizes the guys with multiple rocs many of these guys do have a hornet, a drone, and a wasp in their bag to complement their buzzz....this never dawned on me before

I promise you can't throw a roc in the headwinds I pull out a drone for. I throw buzzzes and a drone.
