Here is my most recent powder dye. I used a slightly different method and absolutely loved the results. Instead of creating a bed, then powdering the bed and placing the disc face down into, I reversed the order. I set the disc down, then added powder, then poured the shaving cream soup over the top of it.

Awesome job. Would a purple and gold mix on a white disc (obviously in homage to the MN Vikings) be feasible? Heavy on the gold to aid in visibility? I would love to commission one or two if it is possible and affordable (knowing that you are local).

This last one I think turned out the best. It was a slate blue Pearly Legacy Outlaw.

Now share the "soup" details...what did you add to the sc and what was the pouring consistency like?

How long did the discs sit with the soup on them before rinsing?

Just water and Shaving Cream. Discs sat 4-6 hours depending on my patience.

Have not dyed anything lately so.....

Sugar skull Princess Leia on a decently used VIP King.

Took 45 min to transfer image to vinyl, about 20 min to cut it out, close to 2 HOURS TO FRIGGIN WEED IMAGE! and another 20 min to remove final vinal after dye. But zero bleeds and great lines in my opinion. Happy throwing!

Diamond In The Ruff

There is actually an orange plastic bag dye in the sections that look empty, just barely visible.

Thanks! I almost made it through with no errors, and then the fly dye bled into the orange ring on the last step:wall:...but I love it.

Was this actually hand cut?? I struggle to believe that. Even for a plotter, it is absolutely amazing. I wouldn't be at all surprised if this was a deco-dye type deal. Too perfect.

Not disc related... but here is my catapult that I made for our weekend to Ravenwood Castle.

My new raptor signature series. If I was good I would put a disc in his hand and signed underneath of it. Originally it was a red disc with a black raptor. There were a couple bleeds so I just reversed the colors and re-did it.
