So when it gets really flipping hot and the sun is out, do you wear sunglasses or a hat or nothing or both?? I like wearing my oakleys cuz ive been told by many people that i look like an idiot with a hat on but i almost feel like the lenses of the glasses change my perception slightly and ive noticed a decline in my putting, is this just mental or have other people experienced this as well?

sunglasses only, i hate hats

I wear both almost every day. You get used to it. Try taking the glasses off to putt.

Attention white dudes: oakley sun glasses do not make you look cool except to other brahs ;)

Neither for me, though im thinking of finding a straw porkpie.

I wear a hat 90% of the rounds I play. Sunglasses if the sun is bothering me.

I would wear sunglasses if i would remember to get a pair when im at the gas station...but until then i will blindly throw in the general direction of the basket..lol

Just a hat usually. Sunglasses tend to break or get annoying after a while.

yeah i try to go with a hat sometimes and turn it either frontwards or backwards depending on the sun, but it gets cumbersome and im no good at wearing hats for extended periods of time, but i guess ill just have to get used to it over the summer

Sun block 70. I wear a "runners" hat most of the day. Runner hats are awesome for disc!

It depends. Definitely no sunglasses cuz I don't like throwing with them on.

Since I'm bald, a hat is required unless it's very cloudy. I like to wear contacts (no sunglasses) when I play, but if I don't, I wear prescription shades.

glasses

sometimes i'll wear sunglasses if its really sunny out, but i try to go without if possible because i don't like wearing them on putts or shots in the shade.

I can't wear sunglasses when I play disc golf. I don't like to throw with them on and I'm not going to take them on and off every minute or so. I never really liked wearing hats outdoors in the summer, gets too hot. I use sunscreen in the beginning of the year but once I have a nice tan going there is no point since the sun burns stop.

Polarized lenses definitely screw with your perception, and IMO make finding a lost disc harder as well. I've played with sunglasses many times before (a couple different types of Spy ones and two different Oakleys, all polarized) and it did nothing but hurt my game. Hell, since I play 90%+ wooded, I'll even take my shirt off on a field hole to try and counteract that damn farmers tan I get from DG lol.

I always wear a hat. I put my sunglasses up on the brim and usually only put them on if I'm facing the sun while putting.

I almost always wear a Tilley hat. I never used to wear sunglasses but I started wearing them this season and I seem to be shooting better. I'm wondering if it's because of less strain on my eyes due to not having to squint in the sunlight.

I always wear a hat to play. Always. I even put one on when I practice putt in my backyard lol I used to always play with shades too but I stopped that about a half a year ago. It definitely messes up your depth perception and just your sight in general.

I always wear both. My eyes hurt without sunglasses, and my scalp burns without a hat.
