Kinda funny story, A guy called and said he found a disc of mine at peter pan park, but I live in Wisconsin and have never been to Kansas. he said he'd turn it in to the DD store, and after calling them they said they didn't have anything with my name on it. he probably just didn't turn it in yet, I'll see tommorow.

First of all, I am pretty sure I called the players pack well in advance. Somehow I knew the Ranger backback would be in there. Second of all, I am not sure my jaw had left the floor since I picked mine up this morning, way to go DD! Third of all, I think I have now lost three discs at the courses here in Emporia, two at Peter Pan, one at Country Club. They all have my name and number on them. Pretty sure a college student has one of them since he has called twice but decided not to mail the disc to me. I lost the number on my phone though so now that I am in town I am not sure if I can call him. All of that to say, I am having a blast! One more day of waiting then the real fun begins.

There are always ams around 1000 rated at worlds. last year there were 5 above 990 (highest 997) and in 2010 wiggins was over 1000 rated when he won and we wasn't even the highest rated am there.

Nothing wrong with that. Gotta figure (hope?) he's been holding out to play this tournament one last time. Especially since it looks like he hasn't played anything sanctioned at all this year.

Usually they will have live scoring after day 1 for lead card of AM1(Male or Female) or MM1 on selected days.

I am pretty sure if everyone besides 18down goes home, he wins. I better stick around now just to make sure that doesn't happen. Ha!

Players meeting is tonight at 7 pm local time and competition begins tomorrow.

Field event results have been posted. I made back a little less than half the money I paid for entry fees. Can't complain about that.
