How to get a stuck disc out of a tree!

Is that hole 10 at Renaissance in Charlotte? I got a xxx stuck way up on hole 14, unfortunately the tree was too thick for me to kick and knock the disc down so I had to throw branches at it until I eventually knocked it down lol

Its from renny, yep. Was editing the video and saw that clip, knew it had to go up haha. That course confused me so I know I messed up the layout, but there is still some neat footage.

I throw my water bottle (24 oz soda pop bottle) at it. I had one stuck in a big pine tree that was just nasty. It was about 50-60 feet up and wedged in thick branches. Took 30-40 minutes of throwing to get that one down. My arm was wrecked after that.

Pines are the worst. The upper branches angle upwards and are perfect for catching discs. Lots of small branches to deflect water bottles / golf balls etc, and a bitch to climb with the hundreds of little branches, sap, bugs etc. Much rather kick them :D

I can usually just snap my nutsac shut, and throw it up like one huge projectile. Barring that, well, I've been known to bend a pine in half with my attempt to climb it. F$&# the bugs, branches or whatever, honey badger don't give a $#&#.

Oh yeah I'll shake a tree sometimes too. This one in particular was a couple feet wide and 100 feet tall. Also didnt even have a branch to climb on, they were all out of reach 10-12 feet high off the ground. Thing was a pain in the buttocks.

Buddy of mine threw his zipped up Fade Lite bag after a disc. Yup, it happened. Bag was hanging right next to the disc. Took a chunk of asphalt to free up both of them. My baseball wasn't heavy enough. :\

I use a very stiff, contractor's tape measure. I can go 30-40 feet up without it bending.

Shortly after I moved to Texas. I tried throwing my bag at a disc stuck in a Mesquite tree. That tree grabbed my bag with its three inch thorns. There was no getting it down with projectiles. I had to pay somebody to climb it. That's how I was introduced to Mesquite trees.
