The Lucky has arrived. I've got some field time scheduled for Wednesday after work (unfortunately other plans tonight). I'm going to throw it and compare it against some of my favorite neutral to understable mids including Tangent, Mako 3, Foxbat, and Buzzz and will report back here with my thoughts.
Couple of questions:
1. Are we doing the sign the disc thing then pass it along or are we trying to keep this one ink free?
2. After testing who's up next?

1. I think it may be best to keep it ink free. That way if someone falls in love with it, they can just keep it and order another one to the next person's address. Sound fair? If there's a better idea, then we can go with that.

Credos and Lucky arrived today. Threw them in the backyard for 10 minutes.
I like the textured track on the bottom of the Credo, it gives the feeling of a secure grip when fan gripping. They seem to fly like standard overstable approach discs, along the lines of a Zone or a Harp.
The Lucky is amazing. It feels like a gummy, flexible Lattitude Core. Very shallow profile. It flies like a dream. Can flip up from a hyzer and end with a gentle turn. The thing I liked most was that it can really hold it's understable line when powered down for a turning approach shot. I like the feel of a mids better than a putter so I often use understable mids for short approach shots (50-100'). I was able to get some nice right turns out of this.
I'll keep them about a week or so and then get them on to the next person. I need to get these out on the course and see how much of an affinity they have for chains.

I got to throw the Lucky a bit yesterday and really like it. Basically it's a slightly understable mid with a good bit of glide. I'm having a super busy work day so don't have time to write much now but will provide a little more detail either tonight or tomorrow. Definitely a nice disc. More to come...

The first thing I noticed about this disc is that if feels great in the hand. I've never felt plastic quite like this. The best way for me to describe it is like a gummier/grippier Jolly Launcher - really like the plastic - very grippy. The shape of the disc reminds me a lot of a Tangent especially the underside of the wing but the Lucky has some dome to it where the Tangent is much flatter.
I had the opportunity to test the flight against a few of my other neutral to understable mids which was interesting. To put this in context I throw drivers in the low 300s and was probably throwing the Lucky and other mids around 225 (not trying to rip them - just a smooth pull). The first thing you notice is that it definitely has some turn that starts early in the flight and I would say the -2 number given is spot on. The next thing you notice is the significant glide. My primary mid is the Tangent and the difference in glide between these 2 is significant with the Lucky having considerably more glide. I think the 5 number on glide is fair and could even be called 5.5. Once the lucky runs out of steam it has a very mild fade that pulls it out of the turn and back towards the center line but never fully back to the center line. If I had to put numbers on this disc I'd say 4.5, 5.5, -2, 1. This is a really easy disc to throw and powers down nicely which takes some of the turn out making for a straighter flight. For bigger arms this will likely be a turnover disc and should be fairly neutral for beginners.
Since discs fly differently for different people I sometimes find it useful to describe flight characteristics in comparison to other discs. Again my favorite mid is a Tangent so in comparison I'd put the Lucky at the same speed and having a little more glide. The Lucky definitely turns more than the Tangent. Compared to my Foxbat which I use for right turns that don't come back the Lucky has similar turn but more fade (nothing fades less than a Foxbat for me) and a touch less glide (Foxbat is a glidey mofo for sure).
So for net stability here's where they land on average for me from left to right (RHBH). I tested against discs that I consider to be neutral to understable mids in the 4-5 speed range. Sorry, Pmantle, I don't have a Meteor for comparison.
Buzzz Glow Z (furthest left - still a neutral disc but just slightly left of center line)
Mako 3 (pretty much dead straight on center line)
Tangent (again pretty dang close to the center line maybe a touch to the right)
Lucky (definitely more turn than fade - moderately right of center line)
Foxbat (furthest right - similar turn as lucky but doesn't try to come back)
Of all the discs above I carry the Tangent and the Foxbat in the bag. The Lucky falls between the 2 in just about every way including distance, glide, and net stability.
