I here that. Once you begin to get out of the "just for fun" into the competative aspect there is a lot lost in the love of this sport. Playing for money or in tournaments in general are amazing and get you better but you lose a sense of being carefree and goofing off. It is all business. :gross:

I had such a blast playing out monthly in the rain on Saturday. Nearly everyone slipped into the mud at least once. It was great.

I bet a good buddy of mine that I could post some of our rounds on here, with us just kicking it at the course having a good time, and get BLASTED by the majority of the people who take it too seriously.

Maybe we're obsessed with Disc Golf and love it so much, even though we all just started playing. But man, we have a dang good time out there. F'n awesome.

I read this thread at work and couldn't watch the video.(blocked) I got scared it might be my friends and I... It wasn't, but we don't play much better. I like to think we can throw better than that, but it probably doesn't look much better. My short game is better and my putting isn't the non spin overhand style. If you can call that a style... I've definitely had days like that.

I am sure it is funnier when you are involved, and I am not blasting you all, I said you were mediocre players and was confused about what was so funny. I guess if you sucked more it would have been funny.

No doubt. I would play a round with them as well. When that dude throws his putt back in the creek I busted out laughing. How many times have I done that !!! We played Sunday and my friend throws off the tee over a security fence on 17 at Greenbrier. His re-tee goes in the lake on the left. I was on the ground howling. It's why we play. Just like these guys having fun.:clap:

I am not positive, I think he is the camera man the rest of the way. I bet he is a 1st timer. I try not to laugh at anyone on the course, especially beginners. I think big man is a beginner. I am 5'11 and about 190. I used to weigh 330. Disc golf helped save my life or at least contributed to my loss. If big man gets hooked and winds up having a similar experience, that would be kick arse. But I think I could take him.
